How so Frampton is quality i think it would be 50/ 50 not saying Leo won't win but saying it would be one sided and brutal KO when Frampton has taken flush shots from Martinez and is clearly an elite fighter

I agree. I think Frampton could take his shots and has a great chance of winning

I like Frampton, but he would not be able to keep Leo off him or trade with him for long. Leo is not Kiko Martinez. Leo is a mini Margarito with speed and a more varied attack. Terremoto would wear him down and stop him just like all the others.

You are counting his early 6-rounders and under. Since he started fighting full fights only two have gone the distance with him.

But those kinds of statistics tell you little about what is going on in the ring. They don't tell you that Leo throws over a hundred punches a round, in great variety, and connects in a high percentage, and is a strong puncher, and throws terrific body shots. They also don't tell you that he wears people down and breaks them, like Margarito did. Like JCC senior did. Like Ruslan just did to Alvarado.

Santa Cruz is not a first round knockout artist. He wins his fights by gradual and steady beatdowns.

Now, if you take all that into consideration, you'll see what I mean that Frampton's being able to handle Kiko Martinez does not mean that he will be able to handle Leo Santa Cruz. Frampton has never been in with anyone like Santa Cruz.

Frampton could beat Santa CLAUSE but no way in hell does he come close to Santa CRUZ.
Leo in a totally different league, well above Frampton.

this is a 50/50 fight people. anyone saying otherwise isn't talking sense.

in fact, i give a slight edge to Frampton. he's shown he can deal with pressure in the Kiko fight.

if this goes off in the next year or so, it will be highly competitive.

The only SBW Frampton has virtually no chance against is Rigo other then that he gives the rest at least a close fight, i think Frampton beats Donaire now

Santa Cruz batters Frampton's body & possibly stops him in the mid RD's. (IMO)

Cruz has average hand and footspeed. Nor is he especially difficult to hit.

He is, however, tough as **** and he hits pretty hard.

Nonetheless I say this is a pretty even tilt. Folks on here forget that Frampton hits pretty hard himself.

Frampton is good but Santa Cruz is the truth i think he would be too much for Frampton.

I've been real impressed of what I have seen from Frampton. So far he has been amazingly dominant against good (not elite) opposition without any mistakes. That makes me curious to know what makes people think that Santa Cruz by KO is the most obvious result? What is the keyfactor that makes you believe that way so surely?

Imo opinion real 50-50 fight on a paper and I believe Santa Cruz would not be able to bully him the way you are expecting.

I would bet my money on Frampton just because I think he has the tools to keep Santa Cruz outside.
