Got to agree i was embarrassed by it. They were void of skill, ambition, above all i hope no kids were watching this pile of shite!! Why didn't sky have an interpretor to decipher the ****ing hieroglyphics Toney was muttering. Did any of them throw a proper punch?

I had nothing against it at all.I know a lot of purists are not keen, but the crowd seemed to like it.Enjoyed it on TV.And it had a happy ending,Michael Sprott with the trophy and Larry Holmes with him.Smiles all around.Dont think any British fan would begrudge him that. What about Jason Gavern or any of the Americans for Anthony Joshua in a few fights time?

I enjoy prizefighter, it's a change, entertaining in a different way.

Joshua would beat those guys easily IMO, no point in fighting any of those guys he wouldnt learn anything.

You dont know what the hell your talking about , who have you fought ? nobody your a keyboard warrior ! , who dont know **** about boxing , and your zenophobic comments about Americans only serve to incite hatred, i like fighters from all country's , i am a Scot but i support english , irish, american, aussie , thai fighters etc.......

But your basis of who you supports seems to only be relevant to where your from , do you support the BNP ? either that or the English defense league !

Your a clown pure and simple , you open your mouth and the verbal GRAVY starts pouring out !

I'm a Toney fan but happy to see Sprott win it. He's a decent guy and an honest pro, he's made a good career out of being a journeyman and this sort of contest is his level. People on herr may mock him but by being a K Bros sparring partner and an opponent in Germany he probably earns more than 95% of posters...

Thing is rampant they'd be a step up from the ones he's inevitably had to start with, and quite a big one.Wills for one,is a big heavyweight with a winning record.Gavern and Minto are probably better than Paul Butlin, much as I like him,and certainly a lot better than the lad Anthony beat last night.Out of interest, who would you put him in with?Say in the new year, when he dispatches his next 2 opponents.

i thought prizefighter at the start was a decent idea..bouncers and tough guys fighting was ok but then allowing pros in it started getting silly but last nights was plain stupid...i will never ever watch this sh1t again....how this gets on telly is beyond me , i would rather watch bum fights on youtube than this gash...
its the lowest ever form of boxing and should be on channel 5

Most of the PrizeFighters are terrible to watch but i always end up watching them if there's no other boxing on despite always asking myself why i bothered after it's over. The one last night was one of the worst, the fact that the 4 semi-finalists were aged 36 years old and above says it all about the tournament not attracting any new young talent.

PrizeFighter has the potential to be fun but they need to pick boxers who will come for a tear up each fight rather then jab and movers like Sprott, Audley, Tor Hamer, Toney and Kevin Johnson who may have the right tactics to win but are dull and boring to watch.

I'd much rather watch fun fighters letting their hands go and trying for KO's like Mike Perez, Brian Minto, Ian Lewison and Tye Fields despite a few of them lacking skill.

They need to reward a KO with £10k to make it more tempting, £2k isn't going to be enough for some guys to take the risk of leaving themselves open to be KO'd back.

To be fair Hearn is pretty clear on what he says on prizefighter. It's a one off show for casuals. It sells out fairly quickly for a boxing show and it is supposed to get as good ratings as some decent fighter do. (Seen a fee comments saying more people watch PF than Carl Frampton!) even look how the sky presenters were dressed. Casual. It's not meant to be taken serious!

Gashalasha? :think Sounds like a right fit exotic bird's name, so I very well may take you up on that offer..

Ah, pathetically predictable attempts at personal insults, didn't see that coming from a yank! :rofl And those two British warriours would've had to stoop ridiculously low for that, would have to be extremely deluded to think it'd add anything to their legacies other than humiliating a total hypejob yank :yep

More projection, lovely! And it's properly spelt 'favour', you illiterate moron :deal

So he KO'd a fellow doped up hypejob yank, and that's supposed to be special? :patsch Fury would tear both yanks new arseholes.

Learn proper English before you address me, sonny. But I'm feeling generous... the most telling thing is your misspelling of 'Defence'...a blinkered mistake among loads of others that's been accepted in scummy yankeeville. And since you admit to supporting doped up hypejob yank 'boxers' as well, why don't you just **** off there? :hi:

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

If you don't think toney is a an ATG then you don't belong on a boxing forum. Period.
