No Im saying that his performance against Douglas is not indicative of a prime Tyson. Do you take a fighters worst performance and put it up as an example of what he could do at his best? Dont be ridiculous. Ive never met anyone, even Tyson haters, who think Douglas would beat a focused Tyson. Are you going to come on here and pretend he would just for the sake of your argument?

Really its easy to knock out fat old men like Spinks, Tubbs, and Holmes? Hmm. Nobody knocked Spinks out. Nobody knocked Holmes out. And when Tyson fought Tubbs nobody had knocked him out either (and frankly nobody did legitimately until he was about 50 years old including Riddick Bowe). But hey, lets **** all over Tyson and pretend what he was doing at 21 was easy seeing as how nobody else could.

I mean if you really want to talk quitting Ill forgive and an old disinterested Tyson quitting in his last fight years after basically giving up on the sport long before I will forgive a prime Vitali quitting in a fight he was far ahead on against a fighter who couldnt punch his way out of a wet paper bag and against who he held EVERY POSSIBLE ADVANTAGE OVER and simply needed to stay upright to win. But thats just me.

We can agree to disagree on Tyson fouling out on purpose over Holyfield Teddy. Especially seeing as how Holyfields history of cheating is well documented: steroids, head butts, low blows, elbows, and yes even biting, as well as allegations of doctored gloves and his promoter tampering with officials. As for Bruno, again, if a guy gets clipped with one punch while dominating and stopping his opponent and you wanna call that exposed then I think you are making my argument for me as well as I could. It shows you are guilty of holding Tyson to a higher standard than his peers due to his insane accomplishments and ability in his prime. I mean, was Holyfield exposed by Stewart or Cooper? Because he had a hell of a lot more trouble with those guys than Tyson had with Bruno LOL.

The only one worth mentioning is Lewis and Vitali was blown out in 6 rounds.

I see that, but you're the only one one making statements that are bullsh1t.

Vitali didn't get "blown out" by Lewis, so I doubt you've seen that fight.

Your knowledge of the contenders of this era is a joke.

You always seem to lump both brothers in the same breath, not seperating them in any way...

Please tell tell me (and the other members) what the difference is between them. What are the qualities that make them different?

I'm goi g after you because on more than one occasion you tell people to "do their homework", but its obvious you don't practice what you preach...

every fighter (except for norris)was taller than tyson, who are all these big men he had trouble with? as an ameateur he knock out kelton brown 6'7" in one,as a pro he toyed with 6'5" tyrell biggs very good jab, movement, courageous, olympic champ.he crushed in one williams 84"reach.outjabbed 6'5" good boxer, tony tucker.crushed 6'3" holmes.beat and had no problem, landing uppercut against 6'6" ribalta.early in career crushed giants, richardson and scaff.against bruno,he was rusty, and he would not have been ko'd,his fights with ruddock proved he had a great chin.i think both brothers would have no answer for his head movement or speed.even
holyfield said so.one last point,i feel once he lost rooney, coupled with marital, drug and alcohol problems, mike wasn't never as good post mike spinks as early in his career.

There's no reason to hate on Vitali untill people claim he's an ATG who beats other ATGs.

He's not and he doesn't. I got no problem with Vitali at but I view him for what he is and that is one half of a tag team duo who towered over the worst HW division known to man. A division so bad middle and cruiser weights had more success at than their respetive weights.
Battle worn Toney who out fatted his middle weight division went 24 rounds and arguably won the first fight against the supposed bogeyman of the division - Sam Peter. Peter then went and near knocked Wladimir out cold.

The Lewis against Vitali was a very winnable fight for a lot good heavyweights. The Tucker who fought prime Lewis for 12 rounds would of beaten him.
Vitali showed the skill of a journeyman in that fight. A fight in which his true level was exposed.
Its well known Sanders was only good for 4 rounds max. By the time Vitali fought him he was at his fattest and oldest. For the first 3-4 rounds Sanders could fight, he made Vitali look stupid. When Vitali got hit he cleared ground going backwards faster than anybody ive ever seen.
He also only beat two world champs in his career and one was old part timer Sanders and the other was beaten by an old middleweight.
ko ratio means jack****. Wilder has a 100% ko ratio.
Vitali doesn't beat any former greats. There's no evidence to support it.

Lewis couldn't knock out Tucker 7 years after he lost to Tyson when he was coming out of a rehab instead of a training camp.

A great fighter doesn't sit on his belt doing nothing. And he wasn't even defending against top guys when he was defending it.

Tyson doesnt have to knock out Wlad and Vitali to beat them. Green, Tucker, Tills etc went the distance with Tyson because once they got hit they stopped taking chances so as not to open their defense and get hammered. If Vitali and Wlad fight like Green and Tucker they arent winning any decisions and they arent stopping Tyson. If they actually fight back they are going to get hit and Wlad at least will get stopped. Even a completely shot Tyson had Lewis running for his life and shitting his pants in the first round. Imagine what the safety first brothers would due with Tyson slipping those pawing jabs and landing that combination bodyshot/uppercut. Wlad aint making it I know that, Vitali might until Tyson damages him enough to make the ref stop it. Tyson beats both.

Someone called Kirk Johnson's fat cross eyed ass dangerous. LOL. Its no coincidence that Teddy Atlas trained both Johnson and Povetkin and never let either step up their competition. When they werent exactly world beaters. Johnson had a cake assignment in his title shot against Ruiz and blew it worse than any of Ruiz other shitty contenders. When your biggest win is glass jawed Maskaev its time to GTFO of any discussion of being dangerous.

Tyson probably beats both. Wlad by KO, Vitali probably by decision.
