If Haye wins against Fury, where does this place him in the HW ATG top 20?

Under Vinnie Jones but above Audley for his poor showing on Strictly Come Prancing, or whatever it's called.

Here we go again with the - if Haye does what-ever, hypothetically Haye is better than ... and ... Haye could .... if he wanted to.

When Haye wins titles and defends them, and it's on record then he can claim his ATG place. Not that this is ever going to happen. But I read Audley is going to take one last shot at it ... so theoretically his ATG status is still in play too. :hey

This particular thread may not be 100% serious, but it's reflective of most the Haye threads on here IMO.

Sorry, you'll have to forgive me for forgetting about Haye seeing off the threat of a well seasoned John Ruiz and the war with Audley.

And I suppose if Holyfield's CW history can be factored in to the equation then Haye's should be too, seeing as they are both competing for limited All Time Great HW spots.

Personally - I think the bar for All Time Great HW status seems to be getting set a bit low here. No disrespect to Haye as a fighter, he's quality, but an ATG probably wouldn't be as inactive as he is and be avoiding the fights (until now) that could earn him another shot against Wlad. Earning that shot, beating Wlad when he's on the decline for belts (inc. Ring belt), seeing off Pulev, Povetkin, maybe even Wilder, then holding off a prime Usyk late in the game ... would be make him an All Time Great.

Beating Fury as one of his 5 fights this decade probably isn't enough IMO.
