Vacant WBF heavyweight title on the line for De Mori tomorrow in his home country to add to the WBU belt he already holds. Could De Mori be coming up from under the radar? Browne is probably the most well known Aussie heavy right now but Leapai is in action on the 23rd against Boytsov and has a chance to upset the Russian in Germany. De Mori has had his head down training hard in Split recently. He says that he has a good team around him and importantly he seems happy with them. Perkovic is a fairly good test right now - I expect that he will step it up a level next year so this performance will be interesting to watch. He's been working on his power so hopefully his speed hasn't suffered. Hopefully we'll see him in action in Europe again next year.
in all honesty mate i think the average person on here thinks de mori is a bit of a joke . i dont think he belongs in the same sentence as leapai and browne or sol .
Sure, I understand that mate. Plenty of opinions out there some qualified, some not but we're entitled to one. I think Mark will change a lot of those opinions next year though. :good
obviously mr. ringtone is marks no.1 supporter. he's just using a different name now. marks fight is coming up, so right on cue
Hey Totalpac, Isee you're still obsessed by that pretender " The Purple Boa Man " One thing's for sure, he hasn't improved in your absence. lol::good
Will support Mark even when the wheels fall off. Arrived in sunny Gladstone yesterday, excited for tonight. Hunter & Tillman going to be interesting to. Tillman in at 117kg and looking for the win.
Mark's been up on blocks with the wheels missing for a long time now. Sam should beat mud guts Tillman. A KO wouldn't surprise. Enjoy the fights. :good
Will do. Perkovic's going to be interesting. Took Ustinov and Dimitrenko the distance earlier this year dropping Dimitrenko in the 4th then was stopped by Hughie. Don't think he's going to just lay down.
well if De Moran can stop him really puts tua's effort of lasting the distance to shame and he should hang him self of retire lol jks , it will be a good solid win for mark if he can Ko him
Totalpac, I see your man got the nod on points. How did the judges see it was it UD ? Drawing a line through that result DeMori could possibly be competitive with Ustinov, Dimitrenko, Hughie Fury and David Tua. But don't expect to see any of those match ups any time soon.
Yes, UD. 110-118, 110-118, 113-115 Tough fight. Perkovic did exactly what we thought he would. He stayed super patient and tied Mark up every single time Mark got inside. Very tactical fight and huge learning experience for Mark dealing with his biggest opponent so far. Much respect to Perkovic. He's super fit at the moment and of to France for another fight in a few weeks I think.

Thanks Tpac. The 380th ranked Perkovic seems a tough sort of a journeyman. Doesn't have alot in attack but a solid spoiling defence. Goes OK for a 39yr old. Possibly DeMori's best win to date. But the question now is " will Mark step it up and can he be competitive at the next level ? " How did Hunter Sam look against Tillman ?
