Round 2 Ustinov 10-9 Tua. 20-18 Ustinov

Tua missed a little short a few times with a left hook, which looks quite fast but seems to be all he is throwing so far. Ustinov is largely able to stay out of trouble and pick Tua off from range. Ref not letting him lean on Tua in clinches.

 

Maybe he is trying to let Ustinov wear himself out? Dudes that big usually don't have stamina for 12 rounds.

 

Sheridan thinks Valuev is fighting?! He has done some good commentary in the past but is way past it. Sort of like David Tua.

3-0 Ustinov.

 

This ref should do the next Wlad fight.

 

A master class so far from Ustinov. This is the best he's ever looked. Showing Lewis how you're supposed to fight Tua. Not of that cowardly back foot fighting and holding.

 

Closer round but 30-27 Ustinov

Tua has thrown his right hand for the first time in his first combination. Ustinov didn't throw as much but still controlled for the most part.

 

First Tua round for me, 39-37 Ustinov

Tua started to come forward that time, and started throwing more punches. Although many fell short, Ustinov landed very little of note and looks increasingly cautious

 

Nah my bad, turned out to be a pre-fight interview. Looks like they're gonna put up some video when the fights over tho.

Close 5th round. Tua landed a few body shots and missed with quite a few. Ustinov though didn't do much until the last few seconds when he landed 2 right hands

 

This is kinda what I expected would happen.
I hoped Tua would be 75% of what he once was, wich should be just enough to get past Ustinov in NZ.
