Unless he somehow retires really young, I see him losing. He doesn't have much power eventually he'll get drawn in. Moving up in weight will add that much more difficulty to the situation. He is oft injured too. As they say that's the last thing to go so that's usually not good. However, that theory has seemingly been lessened of late... It all adds up to not very good. There's a reason the list of relevant undefeated fighters all time is so tiny.

Think Kovalev is the only person that beats him, not sure if he fights him though

Golovkin would get schooled and bullied way too slow and small for Ward

    No.

He will take a L when he moves up. Unfortunately.

At 168, I dont see him getting beat any time soon.

I said "yes" before the Super Six tournament even started.

Part of the reason I answered "yes" is that Ward is smart enough to know who he can beat and who he can't.

He was smart enough to avoid Bute, who I think knocks Ward out, and he's not stupid enough to go to the UK to fight Froch. And he'll never fight GGG - trust me.

How many boxers actually retire undefeated? The once that actually did often (most cases actually) have a * behind them because they either shouldn't be undefeated at all, avoided the the competition or fought them when they were old/over the hill. In most cases it's a combination of those.

Ward still has a good couple of years to go, and who knows how he advances his career. Maybe he even does the stupid thing and move up to HW like some of his fans suggested. He might fight until he's far past it like other big names of the past... and so many other options.

Chance he retires undefeated... I'd say 25% in his case. If he does, chance he might get stick for how his career went, about 95%.

I see what your saying but imo Wards not a big 168 pounder though and the way mackin and rosaro was talking you would think ggg had the strength of a cruiser weight... so that makes the fight interesting to me.

Ps: Imo ggg or ward aren't getting bullied by anyone 160-168 IMO

    More like 65/35, imo

Ward isnt a big super middle, but make no mistake, he has to try and make the weight and hes itching to move up to 175.

Both Macklin and Rosado are former 154lbers, and while they are comfortable middleweights now, hard to compare their strength to someone the natural size of ward, who wouldnt be able to make middleweight at all.

Wards strength, much like Mayweathers, is very underrated.

I highly doubt G would be the stronger man in the ring.

Ward is strong as fawk on the inside I'll give Him that also as a boxing fan I was shocked at how he out muscled Froch at times..but at the end of the day ggg is special too and I wouldNt bet my money on that fight that's for damn sure :deal

No one beats him at 168, I picked Kessler to destroy him, He impressed me in that fight and got my full respect.

I think he goes 2-1 if he faces Golovkin at 168 and Superman, Kovalev at 175.

All three can seriously bang so it's only fair to say they all have a punchers chance, Kovalev is a great finisher and if he gets someone on the go, he's taking them out.

Stevenson is who I would give the best chance, he's got that one punch and your gone type power and can really box, his southpaw stance will also be a big factor as Ward's main weapon is his jab.

WTF is it with the Ward hate, Bute beating him, as if Froch destroyed him anyway, Ward go to the UK well with all the gift decisions of recent for UK fighters why whould he, also the first fight wasnt close WArd schooled him if a fight is one sided no need for a rematch IMO. I ask why didn't Bute go into the super 6 if he was able to beat the likes of Ward, all the hate but Ward will beat GGG easy and Stevenson Kovalev would be work but Ward still wins. Ward is number 2 p4p deal with it he is better then GGG, Stevenson, Kovalev ect
