Judging yes, every fan really wants and understands fair judging.

Legit Reffing though? that's a can of worms with a fighter of Wards style. Does a legit ref tolerate holding and leading with the head? The definition of 'excessive' becomes crucial here. I think that's why its very unlikely Ward will travel to Europe...pretty much the only way I see him being beaten is if he's prevented from fighting in his usual style by a home referee who is either over-zealous or not afraid to enforce the rules, depending on your viewpoint.

at the time i watched the bika fight i was sure bika won it...watching it again i gave it to ward by a point or 2....

i think bika gave ward his toughest fight, and boon came the closeest to putting him away

now watch ward run from stevenson....

I think Ward-Froch, Ward-Abraham would be considered legit reffing. Ward didn't get too dirty in those fights. The Kessler fight was disgusting bs. It was Andre's first time on the big stage and he just pulled out every tactic he had to ensure he'd win. He hasn't been that bad since (save Bika, but that was par for that course).

I just wouldn't want the opposite to occur where Hearn or Sauerland pull out all the stops and have a ref who interferes and causes controversy.

    Boone/Bika.............

Ward will not fight anyone outside of his home town with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, commentators, etc. Ward was the only boxer who never had to travel in the so-called tournament. Ward should fight Stevenson next, as Stevenson has been calling him out for a long time now, called out Ward on national TV, but Ward will not even answer him. Steven even said that he would go down to 168 and fight Ward, but Ward still refuses to answer..........

Ever? Probably Boone when he was still a rookie. At the championship level? Bika.
