    Glass jaws DO exist in boxing. The problem is, however, that this board is quick to call someone who gets knocked out or down "glass-jawed".

    I have a question for the Prof. Is there a current scale within the scientific community that helps differentiate how glassy a chin really is?

    For example - Enzo, Roy Jones and Khan all have shockingly weak Glass Jaws. This is irrefutable. However, their Glass Jaws are not equally fragile. How does one determine one from the other? I often find the term 'Glass Jaw' to be a sweeping generalization as it's very important to differentiate between one standard Glass Jaw - Lewis - from a disgracefully fragile Glass Jaw - Khan.

    We have people on here that deny that Khan has a Glass Jaw. That is why the ChinCheckers are here.

    At no time has anyone said simply getting knocked down means you have a Glass Jaw. Ever.
