I don't think Kevin Johnson would be making this claim unless there was some merit to it. Also the fact that there isn't an immediate reply to it by the promoter dismissing it as pure garbage leads one to believe that Johnsons claims have their merits. I guess that it's still possible that the fight will go ahead but it would be extremely surprising.
Solis manager, said that the fight with Johnson will not. Solis will fight against Takam. It is not known when.
If Solis will beat Takam, then it will be in the semi-elimenatore fight for the title of the mandatory challenger for the belt Vladimir.
Carlos Takam is probably a better fighter than Kevin Johnson but not by much and Takam hasn't fought the same caliber fighters as Johnson has so if this is true that Solis is pulling out of this fight with Johnson just so that he can fight Takam and then fight for some belt then it's just completely idiotic. Also they say that it's not known when this fight will happen, how about fighting Johnson first and then take on Takam in a short period of time instead of pulling out of a fight on just a weeks notice and reducing your credibility with the fans even more.
I just want to see top HWs getting in the ring agaisnt each other. Fights vs the likes of Arrich are ok when there's no better opponents available, but these guys need to fight each other so a line can be drawn as to who is gonna get the crown, or get in line for the crown.:think Im happy with Takam as an opponent. But where does this leave Johnson. Maybe he can talk Mitchell into the ring. That fight was brewing a while back. It's not exactly a great fight, but it might just be a decent one anyway.:think
Solis done. he's no longer a top contender, and shouldn't even be ranked in the top 30... He struggles with European level guys, I think one day Solis will probably lose to a fighter of that caliber... did you see how bad he looked against Larsen? When will people stop rating this fat joke? Even worse there are people saying that he would be beat the Klitschkos! Well Vitali already knocked Solis out inside if a round, Wlad would humiliate Solis and those that are pushing the idea of that fight would label it a cherry pick!
