He didn't need to take the surgery it wasn't causing him huge problems before. This was just his alibi to ***** out of the fight without having to face legal percussions.

Was really looking forward to seeing fury prove all the shitheads wrong, but haye took the easy way out because he knew people were going to think he was going to win anyway.

You're young, so you don't know ****. You think day after day of heavy ass weight resting on your spine is good for your back health?

    Wrong.

There are other ways to work your spine, that don't involve putting a huge load on your back.

If you are as strong as you think you are, go ahead and post a video of you doing a one armed pull up.

Point is, like boxing, it's all about angles. But you have more control. It's more natural.

Your body moves in a natural movement. Look at the military press. How natural is that?

Shoulder splayed out. When you lift something up, like a baby or a kid, do you splay your shoulders out?

    Hell no.

That's unnatural. You think you're invincible because you're young, but if you're not careful, you'll mess your body up for life.

You need to consider that now, and stop listening to all those sport's scientist that don't care about longevity.

    They only care about performance.

    NFL players are disposable.

Boxing is a different sport than the NFL anyway. Not one formula works for all sports.

Weightlifting isn't the problem. Lifting too heavy with improper technique is the real problem. Fighters generally get in trouble when too much emphasis is placed on brute strength and muscle mass rather than FUNCTIONAL strength.

As long as you lift with proper form you'll be fine! Weighlifting WON'T **** you up for life only if you use it incorrectly.

Stop tellin these kids lies. I'm tryin to help people out.

Get outta here with your sports science BS.

Like I said, it's all about performance to them.

So, you got 10 good years, and then what?

Then you got the rest of your life that you gotta spend in pain because you lifted heavy ass weights your entire athletic career.

You would have an argument if you said you couldn't get strong enough with your body weight, but if that was true, you would post a video of you doing a one armed pull up.

    :good

I always chuckle at the young guys loading up the weights just to bench it 3 times and then move on to another set:lol::D

Now you can work out without weights but I just enjoy being at the gym and if anybody wants to do yoga or whatever more power to them :yep

It is all about knowledge and safety :smoke

You can do all your dumbass smiley faces, but when you get ****ed up for life, don't come to me. And don't be surprised when the world turns even more gay, and some gay dude sees your weak broken ass, and pounds you in it.

But you use the pink weights anyway.

My point is, you don't need weights.

You put 8 plates on your back or even 10 plates, over time, you're gonna mess yourself up for life.

    You don't need that.

Especially not for boxing. You only need that if you don't care if you're going to be a broken man when you get older.

Longevity and health and well being should be the goal. Not record breaking weighlifts that destroy your soft tissue and cartilage.

    Stength train...ABSOLUTELY.

    But use bodyweight and kettlebells.

That's all you need to be healthy for life and athletic.

You chuckle because you're inexperienced and just don't know what you're talking about.

5x3 or 5x5 is a pretty standard, routine way of increasing strength. It has worked for a lot of people and will continue to work for a lot of people, yet you're apparently laughing at it?

My guess is you have absolutely no experience going to the gym, you're most likely one of the all knowing keyboard sages.
