His undefeated record fits the bill for a superfight with boxing legend Ali Raymi. Rodriguez would get KOed in 1, but it would sell.

Rodriguez is not 1% of Tyson. Are you on crack?? Rodriguez has fought more bums than Wilder. There is a reason he has had that many fights and not ever a fight with a top 30 fighter. First time Rodriguez steps up he will lose by brutal ko unless he fights Wlad and then he will lose by a brutal 12 round grad and clinch UD.

Doubt if he goes far in boxing, but Wilder has been Ranked #3 WBC without fighting any ranked fighter, so..............

Speaking of Rodriquez, I've heard nothing about Kevin Ferguson (Kimbo Slice) for a while. Is he still fighting or has he given up on it?

The exact same thing could - and should - be said about Wilder. Be consistent. They are both can crushers, just waiting to be KOd when they step up.

BoxRec shows him fighting a six rounder on the undercard of Amir Mansour vs Kelvin Price.
Whoever heard of a 36-0 heavyweight fighter in a six round prelim?.....can you imagine Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder or even Vyacheslav Glazkov or Lucas Browne .....?

    Why is he being babied?

I'd give him a pass on this aspect seeing as he's been out so long with such a nasty injury.

    Ice and Derrick

My comparison to a young Tyson was that he goes right after his opponent. Even Tyson made the comparison. Both guys went right to the inside looking to make a statement early in the first rd.

I didnt compare power, punching technique, footwork, or any of the intagibles that made Mike a top 10 ATG.

I simply gave the contrast to Wilder. Wilder hides behind his length. He doesnt get inside an opponents reach until theyre dazed and confused.:-(

Yeah Tyson fanboys are ridiculous, they put Tyson on a ridiculous pedestal, if you compare how somebody fights to Tyson they will get insulted and start bitching and moaning...

They should fight each other. Each one, automatically, would be the best fighter the other guy has faced.

Based on what I've seen while both were doing the Bum of the (many) Years tours, Rodriguez seems more durable. Wilder looks like a KO waiting to happen, hitting the deck against some of the cans he's fought.
