I thought it was unsual that his name was not listed on the schedules captions on the Bunce hour tonight On Boxrec he is still listed, but without an opponent Anyone know has happened?
Yes he's still fighting on the 30th November, his new opponent will be announced in the next few days and will be better then the ones who had previously been listed. Arnold Gjergjaj was the original choice but dropped out due to injury. Mariusz Wach agreed to the fight which would have been great but the EBU didn't sanction it so that fight had to be scrapped. Matteo Modugno was then given the opportunity but he dropped out over the weekend with an injury so now the search is on for someone else.
The search is on but the opponent will be better than ones previously lined up? How do anyone know this if search so only on !
Just a guess but it wouldn't be hard to find better opponents then complete unknown euro bums like Arnold Gjergjaj and Matteo Modugno even with 2 weeks notice. Anyway there's a few Heavyweights who are suddenly available and looking for fights like Kevin Johnson, Erkan Teper, Manuel Charr, Lucas Browne, Michael Sprott and even trying Wach again.
