Wood vs Murray WBA title - Dec 11

Wood never deserved a shot.

Sam Soliman made Wood look like an uncoordinated drunken hippopotamus when they fought last year.

OK, slight exaggeration but it was one very lopsided fight. Wood has some ticker so he stayed upright but he wouldn't have got many points from anyone that day. He doesn't belong in the ring with the best of the best middleweights. Soliman does, he's a guy who deserves a crack.

 

I read that Murray has refused to fight Golovkin, but Geale might fight Golovkin. I do not know how true the report was though..........

 

As a matter of interest, why can't the wood v Murray fight go ahead in the UK?
Murray is now looking for an opponent to fight, right?
Murray was going to fly to OZ to face wood.
Presumably wood is on weight, well prepared etc...I mean planes do fly in BOTH directions, right?
