Vitali's resume may be a little weak but some of his feats are actually amazing

We can consider him the undispusted champ at the beginning of 04 when Lewis ran off into the sunset with the whole world cussing him out with Vitali holding the main title and the others vacated.

    2. Lewis had many more years to go (He claimed this on multiple occasions). "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age" after Tyson fight. Lewis also promised the rematch on multiple occasions but decided not to in the end because Vitali was too menacing.

    3. Yes he did.

the tko6 post was mine, not yours.

there is no actual way for you to list anything in my posts, unless you logged on as me. glad you are clear on that now.

and vitali could so easily have been greater - if he'd had the balls to face postprime tyson, bruno and holyfield, then via getting stopped by each of them in turn, he could have retired old tyson, old holyfield, old bruno as WELL as old lewis.there are no limits to the number of old guys vitali could have retired by offering to let them rip his face off.
4 times the glory than merely letting lewis rip his head off. 4 times the awesomeness. He could have been the ultimate meatball. more easy acheivements for vits.

    He easily retired Lewis. :bart

Vitali was the most menacing HW in the early 2000's. After he had his way with Lewis, he became the most avoided fighter.

HWs now are still afraid of him. FFS!

I am just saying he could have retired far more legends (evander, mike, riddick etc) by letting them rip his face off in tko losses, which in your eyes makes him 4 times greater than you claim he is.
Surely you must agree with anything that makes Vitali 3 or 4 times greater than you make him out to be??!

1 - Lewis retired because he wasn't sure he had the ability or motivation to get into the condition where he could be certain of victory over Vitali. Vitali certainly played an important roll in his decision to retire but he wasn't the only factor.

2 - Vitali has never been undisputed champ. The Klitschko who has ever had a valid claim to be considered undisputed champ is Wlad and that's only happened in the last few years.

3 - Boxing is not a tag team sport and one man cannot claim the accolades due to another. The Klitsckos are the dominant force in the heavyweight scene, but that's mainly down to Wlad who has been active for a longer uninterupted period and fought the better fighters and owns most of the titlesl

4- Lots of money in the bank is certainly good for him but hardly something that sets him apart and cant really be used as proof that he's a great heavweight fighter.

    Vitali just simply doesn't lose.

He has never truly lost in his career actually.

Never losing more than 2 rounds in any fight, knocked down or out. :hi:

    1. "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age" after Tyson fight

Stated on multiple occasions that he had many years left to go

Promised the rematch against Vitali, but refused to do so afterwards. Ran into retirement.

    2. He was the only titleholder early 2004, after Lewis retired.

We can consider him the "champion"

    3. Vitali's injuries stopped him from claiming every title. He dominated every fight in his career.

but suerely if we multiply tko6 by four times then Vitali must be four ties greater in your eyes, no?

I thought NOT facing his brother stopped him claiming every title (apart from losing title fights of course). perhaps you mean hypothetical injuries that he might get from fighting his brother.

He was the only titlest starting in 2004.

The injury stopped him from claiming every title. Fact
