Vitali's resume may be a little weak but some of his feats are actually amazing

    That´s Klitschko-fanboy logic, so bizarre.

You get destroyed by the man and when he retires, you´re automatically
undisputed, you do not even have to fight somone.

Herbie Hide was in front on the scorecards before he got stopped.

By your logic Herbie was dominating Vitaly.

I have to say i do not agree with that. But it´s your fanboy logic.

Vitali was a five to one underdog. Vitali fought Herbie Hide in London, stopped Hide in the second round. I thought Hide was dead, as his legs were stiff, it was a scary sight..............not a cut, Hide was out cold.............

But he dominated Vitaly before he got stopped. He was leading on the scorecards.

    -Proven steroid cheat
-Quit vs a former middleweight who couldn't break an egg
-Had one fight with a great HW & only lasted 6 rounds
-17 years as a pro & his best wins are Peter & Sanders

That´s not the way it goes. If the lineal champion retires, you have to unify the belts to get a lineage. The best have to fight each other in order to determine the new lineal champ.

What a joke it would be. You lose to the MAN and when MAN retires, the last he has defeated would be new linear champ.

Only on planet Klitschko ! :nut

The list of HW titlists who have either failed a steroid test or admitted to using them is fairly short.

Many other fighters have fought on with more severe injuries, in more difficult circumstance & against more dangerous opponents. Some of them have even managed to win in those conditions.

Vitali didn't like being walked down & outlanded by Byrd, he didn't fancy 3 more rounds of it & quit.

Lewis was walking through Vitali's arm punches after a few rounds & landed all the powerful, damaging shots. Vitali didn't have a cut, he had multiple injuries & ended up with what looked like a vagina on his face.

Mercer & Mavrovic were superior vs a better Lewis than Vitali

    Peter & Sanders

You can't be serious. Vitali has never, ever been on Lewis' level.

Wikipedia is a site that anyone can change. Great source !

You will find out that there are a lot of different views. For example a lot of people had Chris Byrd after his win over Holyfield as the no. 2 heavyweight (And there was even talk of Lewis ducking him). Vitaly never fought a rematch though (Instead let his brother do it), so how could he be lineal champ, when he never fought the no. 2 heavyweight.

Same goes for Wlad. He never fought the no. 2 (his brother), how could he be lineal champ then ?

That´s easy to say, cause it cannot be proven. It´s not a fact though (eventhough for Klitschko fans it is).

But it wasn't one cut, it was several cuts, and Vitali only landed 54 more punches than Lewis according compubox - Vitali threw 432 but landed only 156 while Lewis threw 222 and landed 104 - so my point remains valid, Vitali was hardly close to "destroying" Lewis.

I did not say that Byrd was lineal champ, i said there is an argument that he was the no. 2 heavyweight behind Lewis. And since Vitaly was scared of a rematch with Byrd he wasn´t lineal.
