Both potential mismatches, doubt over Pac man's punch resistance now after that brutal KO makes Rios a possible live underdog. groves on the other hand is getting stopped inside 6 rounds, earlier if he comes to fight. Its man vs Boy i'm afraid to say.:bbb
People are banging on about Groves being a mover and a back foot fighter, but IMO they're basing that solely on the Degale fight. Groves didn't put on a back foot masterclass, DeGale just isn't a come forward fighter so by making DeGale lead he took away DeGales strength and caught him off guard tactically. Froch is the polar opposite he will constantly come forward, and I think Groves styler suits Froch. I agree with whoever said Groves getting what Bute got.
I'm yet to see anything that special about Groves, I think he's OK, don't dislike him, but no real comparisons can be made with Froch since he simply hasn't fought at close to the top level. It is a boxing truism that anyone can look good fighting bad opposition and I simply don't see Groves speed n skills looking so sharp at the top level. Froch by mid-rounds TKO.
