The refund, minus the booking and postage fees will be refunded to the card used, so if it's on your mates then just get the funds from them. The face value should be back on the card in a few days.

 

It's a shame the fight was canceled. I was really looking forward to this fight...................

 

Don't you only get a refund if the show has been cancelled?

I mean if the show was to still go ahead with say Fury vs Wilder I'm not sure you would be offered a refund because most tickets are sold with ' program subject to change' clause in case of fighters pulling out?

I guess I was because I just got an email asking to return the tickets and I'll be getting refunded!!

 

I am. They e-mailed me a couple of days ago saying "we have instructed our accounts department to refund you 320 pounds"

Still waiting but fair play to them for getting on with it. Had a feeling i was gonna be spending hours on hold on the phone attempting to get money back!

:huh Already been refunded, didn't even request one, they just emailed saying it was cancelled and it was being issued, minus booking fees as standard.

 

EventIm don't require the tickets, don't know about other outlets though.

 

Keeping the booking fees is wrong all the fans are now out of pocket.

 

It's not wrong if it's mentioned in the terms buyers agree to when booking.

 

The ticketing company still did what it charges the booking fee for. Personally I feel its wrong to charge a booking fee in general, it should be taken into account on the overall ticket price and paid for by the event organiser, as it is them that decided to use a third party vendor afterall.

Sadly this isn't the case and is standard for all cancelled events.

 

I had to get them through Get me in. Don't care really just want my money back so I can use it for tickets to another show.

Was planning to head down to watch Groves vs Froch looking more likely now.
