Historically, The Cobra has struggled when pitted against slick black fighters. Taylor, Dirrell, Johnson and Ward all gave him hell because of their intrinsic black rhythm and superior fast twitch muscle fibres. Groves is perhaps the blackest white fighter I have ever seen, his head movement and footwork reminds me of a Detroit fighter, rather than that of a West Londoner.

I predict groves ties froch in knots and leaves him dumbfounded in the face of his smooth, calculated, afro-centric pugilism. A virtuoso Wardesque performance is on the cards here with the possibility of a late knockout as Grove's inner melanin becomes too much for the pasty peckerwood to handle.

I envisage Froch relocating to LA after this to train under Virgil Hunter in an attempt to master the dark arts and learn to fight black, just like sly did in Rocky 3. After this we may see froch enact vengeance upon grovesy in 2014, before facing the soviet killer GGG.

Glen Johnson is hardly very slick lets be fair, also Groves is nowhere near Ward level, Groves is being massively overrated by many he has done nothing to suggest he beats Carl Froch

Please note only one of they fighters actually beat Froch and Ward is a top 5 P4P fighter. Groves may not even be a top 5 British P4P.

dirrel beat him in my view

taylor gave him a world of trouble and had the fight won till he gassed. Lay the blueprint to be beat carl.

And glencoffe gave him a tough night's work. Not the slickest but he has that tough field negro mentality, just like a mandingo fighter from django.

To be fair, when Groves fought Glencoffe he was probably the closest to actually stopping him, Carl did have a much harder time. The fights were a year apart, and the Pro Froch crowd will say, Glencoffe was shot by then. Much like Kessler then.

Dirrell is definately not slick,he is a runner and a bad one at that reminds a bit of a poor mans version of Miguel Vasquez the IBF lightweight champion.

Glenn Johnson is a come forward brawler, nothing slick about him.

Jermaine Taylor you could say was slick but not very.

Ward can be slick but also very ragged and usually wins his fights with mauling, holding and all the rest of that bull****.

****ing pointless thread,do you even know what your talking about?

Froch won all the fights. This is a fact.
Another fact is that Groves is probably not as good as Taylor or Dirrell.

    Froch wins, mid rounds stoppage.
