He has already proven to be the best of this era. Nothing that happens now will disprove that. It's unquestionable.

He has nothing more to prove, absolutely nothing. Even if he loses now to Amir Khan or even to a Paulie/Berto, it won't hurt his resume in any way.

He's already at an age where most boxers decline (He has already showed signs of losing a step or two)

He's a bona fied certified top 20 ATG at this point and no opponents ahead will boost him.

He can retire now with all of his faculties perfectly intact with a rich bank account might I add. He has enough money to live out the rest of his life comfortably, provide for his children/generations ahead.

I don't want to see someone like him get knocked out. He's one of my sports heroes. He works far too hard, has too much determination and has become a great man since his jail stunt.

I don't want to see Mr.Mayweather decline any further. Don't want to see him turn into another Holyfield/Roy who fights well beyond their years.

No there isn't. He has nothing more to prove. I'm a HUGE fan of the man.

I don't want to see the man decline any further. It would be the saddest day of my life.

You want him to retire because Pacquiao is gonna look sensational on Sat and that is a fight you have long DREADED

Plus Triple G is making noise and making noise about coming to 154- where Mayweather is the reigning champion

Mayweather will no longer fight above Welterweight unless it's an extremely juicy fight. GGG is not an extremely juicy fight. NO one knows the man outside of hardcore boxing fans/Kazakhstan slums.

Pacquiao hasn't looked amazing since his Cotto fight.

Even that Pacquiao would be easily dispatched by Mayweather.

Mayweather never needed him, never will. Of course I would have loved to watch that scrap.

    :hi:

Except when he retired, Pac was a nobody. End of 2007. :yep

Mayweather had to retire to heal his body. Similar to Ray Leonard when he had to retire because of a detached retina.

Yet he's doing big numbers on HBO and knocking out guys in sensational dominating fashion...are you sure he's such a little known entity? He's sure more known that Robert Guerrero

I also believe he would've won but it's an embarrassment to Floyd and to the sport of boxing that that fight didn't happen 3 yrs ago.

You're a mug if you believe otherwise.
