    Both former fighters, go watch 2 Roach fights then watch 2 Garcia fights, analyze it (if you can). Who wins in their primes @ 140?

    Both were at their best at 130/135, Roach was tough and had a lot of heart while Garcia was more skilled , both had fan friendly styles. I would pick Garcia by decision in a good entertaining fight

    Garcia was a world champ. Freddy never even fought for a world title.

    I suppose you also think John Ruiz would have beaten Earnie Shavers right? After all, Ruiz was a champ, Shavers failed twice.

    I think Garcia wins but you are indeed a simpleton.

    Garcia had serious skills, good power, and speed to burn. In essence, he was like a clone of Mikey, but with no chin, way less stamina, and a tendency to cut. Unfortunately he always seemed a way to get kayoed after building up a seemingly insurmountable lead.

    Shavers fought two of the greatest HW champs of all time for their WORLD TITLES. If you weren't a simpleton yourself, you'd know there's a big difference between that and an ESPN belt.
