Why are people dismissing Rios? Did you see Alvarado's face?

May have had an off night vs. Alvarado but that doesn't explain the Abril, Murray and many other performances.

 

actually I don't disagree, Rios is an intriguing opponent because if
Pac has anything left, Rios is tailormade for him but...........
if Pac is now officially an old fighter, Rios will be a nightmare all night.

Pac doesn't hit harder then Alvarado at Welterweight, seriously dude come on. Pac hasn't carried his punch well at all past 140, not to mention the fact that he has been noticeably fading for the past 2 years. Plus Marquez broke the seal, causing Pac's punch resistance to decline. :hat

 

Rios got boxed in Alvarado II and vs Abril. Alvarado and Abril are not in Pacs class.

SO WHAT, Alvarado is just as limited as Rios if you match them right they look good, Prescott outboxed Alvarado badly until he gassed, RIos Alvarado are fan friendly fighters but when it come to quality they dont have it, they have nothing to offer against A level fighters...

dude, if you think marg and rios are on the same level you my vitrual friend are a true phukin moron. only slight comparison is they both take flush shots but rios can truly dish out offense that is effective even against top fighters.

against top fighters outside of cotto 1 marg has been made to look like a complete bum. rios is 10000 levels above marg.

hes tougher, takes better sbots
he is faster, marg is stuck in quicksand
hits way harder with much more variety in his offense they both have good stamina BUT rios stays way stronger throughout the fights..
rios actually rolls with most of the inside shots while marg never knew what rolling with shots is... and ros is a beast on the inside marg suks inside
i dont understand how people compare rios and marg. is it because they both pride themselves on being tough guys, cause thats the ONLY similarity.

Alvarado is one of the worst boxers that still manages to be perceived as good. I'm willing to accept this because the odds were ridiculously skewed in his last fight and I got that money, but the guy is just not a good fighter.
