I dont think Groves was that hurt and I think would have gone on and won

 

Joe vs Manfredo as i wrote was far worse

 

love how the whole groves 'bad', froch 'good' storyline they tried to push was thoroughly discredited. pretty obvious Froch is a complete bellend and groves a decent guy.

 

Thank God these Refs weren't around for Ali vs Foreman. Rope a Dope would have been a TKO for sure

 

Survived and then gotten robbed on the cards. Froch should have been stopped earlier if we're playing that game.

And there have been other bull stoppages like this one all over history. No matter how bad this one was, if you watched Italian titlefights during the 80's this won't even reach your top 20.

 

I agree. As it stands, Groves' confidence will be riding at an all time high. Compared to being pummeled and stopped in the late rounds.

I dont understand what I've just seen.

Groves has taken it well to be honest, but he will gradually get more and more angry once it begins to sink in.

I dont even want a rematch, sometimes it's just your time and i think George has been robbed cause he was gonna get through that round and win the fight

In future though I would say that he needs to get himself to the states and maybe try and learn from some of the best trainers as he got himself into exchanges that he didn't need to.

 

Disgusting stoppage, but immense respect to both men. Froch looked old tonight.
