Groves was to fast. Froch couldn't even see the punches coming.

Froch goes to bed tonight and wakes up in cold sweats thinking of that sweet sweet humiliating knock down in round 1.

No it's you that doesn't know anything if you think there was any technical ability in that fight. That response makes you look really stupid.

Enlighten me... This should be funny.

Hopefully this repeats every night of his remaining years.

Jim Watt does seem to get a bit carried away.

Don't know why people are saying the 'momentum' was shifting when the previous rounds were marginal at best. People are confusing the issue because Froch looked so **** in the early part of the fight.

I think Groves wouldn't have survived all 12 rounds, Froch is always very strong in the championship rounds and Groves was slowing down and Froch was finding momentum in that last round.

Agreed. Nor was he defenseless, or witless. He was actively trying to defend, and was trying to hold, while Froch was trying to thwart that, when the ref did his thing. Tis a shame. Groves was clearly the superior fighter in there on the night. He has jumped onto the world stage with both feet, even in defeat.

Most people would have been knocked clean out with the shots Groves landed. Froch was defiantly feeling everything Groves was landing though. His chin is legitimate Iron.

Groves just hits very hard and with precision.

I am indeed parroting what Groves said because it's relevant point.

But he was still on his feet, and still landing that overhand right.. aswell as that sweet jab.

    Shocker.

That style of fight suits a really limited Chavez Jr that would have the power to hurt these guys. I swear some of you guys don't f**king watch boxing.

I doubt it. Groves got himself into trouble, but Froch would've won either a SD or MD anyway by the judges.

Same chin as always. He can take a beating but he isn't superman. He can be dropped, he can be hurt and he can be KO'd.
