Completely agree, only just calming down from that, had money on groves and was backing him from the off which made everything worse, genuinely feel cheated out of the end to a great fight and of Groves getting the night he deserved, even if he wouldn't have won

Sums it up for me. They will patch it up and george will be a superstar no doubt. Humble wins every time.

It is, agreed, but there is a definite problem in British boxing and has been for a while..

even if the result was fixed I'd still pay to watch them go at it again because the fight wasn't fixed

A bloody fabulous fight which stopped prematurely wasn't allowed to come to its natural conclusion......and reflects badly on Froch although he was in no way to blame and could have snatched a heroic victory from what looked to be a fairly comprehensive defeat...from where I was sitting.

    ...................hypothetically obviously.

The ref, the judges, SKY, Eddie Hearn?

Let's see which pundits come out with 'Great for British Boxing' 'Groves will come again' & 'Froch is a Warrior' etc etc

Give it a couple of days and we'll all be convinced Groves was lucky to be even in the ring.

Eddie hearn like his dad with Eubank had the officials in his pocket..remember Eubank v Thornton.? if the fight had gone the distance they would have given it to Froch anyway...if George had been down like Froch was it would have been stopped. Absolute f****ing disgrace..but we have seen it before and will do again.

you really have to wonder if the referee had money on Froch winning by stoppage, because that was an absolute disgrace.

Did Frochs camp, including Eddie Hearn maybe coax the referee into "saving the chinny George Groves" if he got caught?

I dont know, but i think there's more to this than meets the eye

The 76-75 scorecards say it all, how the fxck did Froch win 4 rounds

I only gave Froch 2 rounds......

    Shockingly bad scorecards.

Obvious the ref was against froch f me what did he have to do to get a point deducted. He punched 5 or 6 times after the ref called break and elbows. Fing joke.

The referee is a disgrace and in my opinion robbed Groves of a fight he was winning. Groves showed he was a better boxer, faster more skilled and better puncher than Froch unfortunately a dodgy refereeing decision cost him winning the world title. I found it difficult to Froch any rounds. Ultimately this was a disgrace.

Anyone thinking this is just a mad coincidence involving a terrible ref + even worse judges is missing something. the ref couldn't ****ing WAIT to wave the fight off.
