Groves was too tired to stick to the plan,he couldn't maintain the same tempo in movement..because of this his plan had become ineffective.

not sure about that. Froch needs to fix his sloppy defence and be more aggressive from the start. That I'd in round 1 seriously put the wind up him.

Who gives a **** if he cried - the fact is he took Froch to school and deserves respect

    Agreed.

The Ref and the judges were bought off by you know who just like he did for the Beltran vs Burns fight.

Boxing takes one step forwards with a great fight tonight and two steps back due the the shocking stoppage, shocking judging and shocking undercard.

Considering the knockdown giving groves a 10-8 round... Those two scorecard were a disgrace. The fix was in for sure.

Ref was just waiting to hand the fight to froch... Hearns need to hang their heads in shame

Worse thing is... They'll probably put the rematch on box office too.... Trying to milk this fix as much as possible

    Barry Hearn ‏@BarryHearn 33m
I had groves ahead by one round the same as two of the judges.

    Absolutely beyond belief.

For me its the worst I've seen

Saw Pacquiao v Bradley live as well which was bad but the challenger Groves was miles better than Froch.

"New age promoting" its a farce and a rematch will happen and Hearn gets more money.

What a f*cking tool he is. Biased as f*ck.

Him and Eddie are slowly sabotaging this sport...

The promoters tried their best to build up Groves as the bad guy in the runup and Froch as the good guy, well it desperately backfired tonight. From the refusal to shake his hand to the unhinged ramblings in his post fight interview Froch was the one with no class. Groves on the other hand was articulate and humble.

The dodgy stoppage and fixed scorecards will be talked about for weeks to come but the enduring memory will be of Groves being booed entering the ring and cheered out and vice versa for Froch.

Hearn should be ashamed. Groves had everyone and everything against him tonight, including the result, but still comes out the winner.

    VERY bad.

Froch got OUTCLASSED in EVERY department. Hell, even his terrific chin was nowhere to be seen!

Carl's getting LAID OUT in the rematch.

Good post and unfortunately everything the two warriors did in that ring tonight were negated by the corrupt Ref, judges and Promoter.

Up until the last round I had GG 7-2. He DOMINATED Carl. F*ck , when was the last time you seen Carl get flattened in the first round and lose it 10-8?

How can people say 'There was only a point in it...'? It was completely one-sided.

Seriously TBooze, what is your line of argument here?

The ref was ****/corrupt, the judges were ****/corrupt, but lets all just forget about it because the fight was quite good up until it was stopped???:huh

Sorry, but its hard to ignore the fact that there is probably not a more bent sport in the world at the moment. The days when the mob were fixing the odd fight now and again seem like some kind of wonderful boxing utopia compared to the daft **** that we have to put up with on almost a weekly basis now.

Judging aside, which can be highly subjective at times, anyone who doesn't think that ref stoppage was dodgy has to have their ****ing head examined.

I had it 6-2 to Groves going into the 9th and that was being generous to Froch, if i was trying to give rds to Froch then 5-3 Groves at the very most.

Anything more then that is just corruption.
