It was the single most horrible stoppage in recent memory.

No. The stoppage was early but I don't hink he was taking another 3 rounds of that.

That's bull****, George was slightly fading but Froch wasn't getting any stronger. He was winning the exchanges in the ninth until he got hit with one shot on the the top of the head that got the ball rolling.

If you allow standing 8 counts there would be alot more tragedies people dont understand this

Your basically saying a guys gone you give him a chance to recover then the same thing happens again then recovers then ends up taking a beating

I think it's 50/50. In fact if I had to pick I would say yes, Groves would have held on. Groves didn't look that hurt to me and he didn't even go down. Groves has apparently recovered well from being hurt before.

Lets be honest, Groves was about to get Bute'd. He dominated the fight did more damage to Froch than any1 I've seen but as soon as he started getting tagged it was game over. Poor stoppage but wouldn't have lasted much longerÂ…shame, great fight. Rematch.

Ref had no business getting between the two men

    No business

Groves was shook but was coming forward

I cannot believe what I just saw

It has to have been a fix, otherwise I cannot explain what just happened

dude WTF i could understand you guys IF groves was a monster puncher, the dude is weak and fragile, its just froch is a hyped up mentally tough man. he gets hurt a lot.
his chin is DECENT at best, groves had him hurt cause the idiot thinks he can take any punch. this fight proves he is a hype job. shat groves couldnt even get degale to blink with every shot he landed.
    groves doesnt have real power
