I there should be a standing 8 count if the ref really doesn't want to wait for the guy to go down.

 

Groves was fading, it could be seen by his losss of speed, output and lack of movement. Groves right no longer had the effect on Froch as earlier in the fight as Froch was just marching through like a restless zombie thirsty for the blood of Groves

 

so Froch takes a shot from a big puncher, goes down, but gets up. now his chin is cracked?

Froch took big shots all night but never stopped believing in himself. his chin is iron. the fact you question his proven chin is a bit sad if i'm honest.

 

Honestly if all it take is a post fight interview of a proud champion make you lose respect for him the YDKSAB.

Hardly. You dont have to know about boxing to lose respect for someone. Do you respect Gamboa? Im sure you did until he got exposed to peds and beating women. Froch had a chance to be classy and give respect where its due but he didnt. He took credit for an undeserved win. His attitude after the fight was a disgrace to mankind

 

Had the fight lasted to the end of the ninth, Froch would've been (at worst) tied on the scorecards, and winning with had they awarded him a 10-8 round. That is suspicious because he didn't win more rounds than Groves.

 

Groves barely threw a power punch in that fight
