I gave Hamer the first 2 rds. He was mixing his punches up nicely and really tagging Ruiz. But just like Glaskov, whom he was up the first 3, he stopped fighting the very next rd, and quit before he started the first rd after he'd lost the rd. Sad really, b/c he had an answer in those fights, and even a solid showing in a loss, wouldve raised his profile. But quitting, the very rd the tables turn......just f/n week. Hope he made $$$$ tonight, b/c this will likely be his last high profile fight.:-(
Go to his twitter page...he's pissed.. "That is an embarrassment, Tor Hamer. Time to become a pilot" "By the way Tor, you are released," "WTF!" Mad props to Lou for fire his own fighter, most people wouldn't do that
:rofl Tor Hamer is made up how bullies are, be big try and scare them then when they arent scared your fxcked, he came out throwing right hands like there was no tomorrow, if Ruiz's chin was bad he woulda got stopped but then when he didnt go anywhere Hamer didnt know what to do and mentally broke
If prizefighter fights were 4 rounds long Tor woulda quit after the 3rd round...with only one to go!!
Hamer sucks. He can't punch hard enough to hurt anybody because his feet are all over the place. He came out fast but wasn't doing much, then Ruiz landed a couple good body punches and sucked him up. Once Ruiz opened up a bit, he quit. How he ever beat 21 guys...a tribute to careful match making.
Good move. ...although Lou has always been motivated to act publicly in a very PR-conscious way. No doubt he did this fully realizing (and hoping) that it would earn him some brownie points or street cred in the boxing community.
Tor Hammer lost the fight, after two rounds he was totally outclassed, the 3rd round cost Tor the fight, he was done for...........
