Last time I checked all those fighters were world title holders and number 1 contenders when Mayweather fought them. Was the main event tonight for a title? And by the way Canelo, Ortiz, and Guerrero would all beat Rios ass. No disrespect to Brandon

It's funny how all the floydettes thinks that their idol can easily defeats Manny, while their idol himself thinks otherwise. Floyd is reluctant to fight Manny because Pac still a very dangerous fight for Floyd, in fact its a 50/50 fight. Think about it if even Floyd thinks that Pac is an easy fight he would have fought Pac a long time ago.

    Pac!

Floyd has avoided quick fighters for a reason! he has slowed down alot! Pac would win by late TKO

i would be rooting for pac, but i think its a 60/40 fight favoring mayweather. i find it hard to pick against mayweather, he would pot shot his way to a majority decision.

Pac is my boy and would root for him, but Mayweather would win.

I think Pacquiao will give Mayweather one hell of a fight though. He's not as slow as molasses like Guerrero and Canelo.

Mayweather knows he's going to go through hell to beat Pacquiao.

    Mayweather UD in close fight.

Boxing is all about levels, and I honestly don't know how knowledgeable fight fans can make judgements with such certainty regarding two fighters who have never stepped up to the level each other is at.

The irrefutable fact.... forget opinion for a moment... is that every single person who judges what Mayweather would do to pac, is basing their opinion on what he has done to guererro, a shot mosely, victor ortiz....

The same thing goes for pacquiao.

This is an elite level fight. It's levels above anything Mayweather or pacquiao have fought in their career and you cannot legislate for that. Boxing teaches you that. like when Hearns fought leonard... in fact look at tonight's fight with froch groves. You can't make predictions of the unknown, and without any doubt whatsoever, either of these fighters facing each other is a step into the unknown.

In no other sport would you make a sure judgement about a team's ability to beat another, based on them convincingly whooping a lower league opponent. Unless you were naive.

This is a career defining fight. Or, it was. I just think the time for it has passed and if I'm being honest, I think Floyd is waiting for that clear sign Pacquiao has lost enough to make it a safe fight to take. then he'll clean him out. It's a shame fighters have the power to make such decisions.

Regardless of who you pick to win this fight, I personally think that when you reflect on the ink and paper of their CV, you'll have to concede that they can never be placed amongst the greats because we never got to find out how good they really were when they went up to that highest level - each other.

I love Manny but Floyd would destroy him. I would still like to see the fight because Manny is an ATG and he should get the chance to prove he can take his game up a level.

Floyd really needs a great victory over a fighter like Manny to truely cement his legacy.

The one thing that I would be interested in seeing, based off their last two fights, is how Floyd deals with Manny's speed and angles. IMO, at this point in their careers, Manny appears to have more life in his legs then Floyd. If Manny is boxing and moving all night I think he could be very competitive with enough volume punching.

I have no doubt the fight will happen late 2014, early 2015... These guys are running out of options and the money is too great to ignore.
