Well you seem to be clearly in the minority in terms of how most people thought he looked.

If I had any complaint at all it was that he wasn't able to hurt Rios, but you can't go into every fight expecting a knock out. And no fighter should ever go into a fight expecting a knock out, because the mentality should always to win rounds and take a little punishment as possible. And if you watched the fight you could hear the Kellerman and Jones take about the same thing I'm taking about, that instructions given to Pac were to throw 3-4 punch combinations and move.

I'm starting to think you never ever saw the fight, otherwise you'd know this.

Any trainer that predicts a knock out for his fighter is acting like an idiot. All it does is create false expectations and puts undo pressure on the fighter, and gives the other fighter a psychological edge if it doesn't happen. Holyfield said the same thing when he was fighting Lewis.

 

People just have high expectations of pacquaio which is a testament to how great he is. Had that been anyone else who just dominated rios like that (say for example tim bradley) people would be talking about how awesome he looked.
