Foster ruined one of Froch's career highlights last night. He did Groves the biggest favour he could ever give a losing fighter - the chance to say the stoppage was too early. It was too early but Froch knew he had Groves, just a question of time at that point.

Froch wasn't winning **** without the disgusting fix we saw in place last night.

this is pure nonsense, doesn't matter what MAY have happened, lets see it then.

Froch may have one but it doesn't excuse the stoppage

Jacob,Achilles is right...we just don't know what might have happened that is why the stoppage was so frustrating

Yes it's the most likely outcome. That or Froch's win on corrupt scorecards if Groves would somehow survive the last rounds.

You froch bummers trying to justify his early xmas gift of a victory make me laugh. Groves was still going strong making a fool out of froch yet you think 'oh froch would of done him anyway..'

    What fight were you watching?

The poor boy got robbed for **** sake!

    Admit it

you presented it as a proof. as for groves winning by ko, your own theory disproves that, as froch has a better chin and recovery than either, not to mention atg stamina.

Not read any other posts.Really bad stoppage at world level.I think Groves would have rode out the storm, gone on to win a decision unless he was robbed there as well, which is a possibility.Re,Foster, everybody makes mistakes, but was gutted for young Groves.Losing his unbeaten record after fighting the fight of his life.Hope he can come again, think he can.

just a thought bad stoppage and is it possible that in the midst ov battle groves thought he was still infighting froch when being held by foster watch a replay and if so it looks like he was ok and just holding waiting to reload and also how come froch gets a second wind and people dont think groves would didnt he recover v anderson

Can't bloody stand Jim Watt but he called it right saying Froch came in with totally the wrong arrogant attitude and was bloody awful. Groves was very good and the stoppage was too early. Froch's jab was pathetic and for the first time he looked a little scared of Groves power. As normal though he only looked like he was getting into things in about round 5.

No one can deny though that Froch was beginning to get through and the last 4 punches he threw were mullers.

Early stoppage and messy overall though.

I think its a valid opinion Winston....Groves had hit Froch with every punch he ever dreamed of and hadnt got rid of him. Also Froch had been landing some body shots throughout the fight. Froch was the seasoned warrior of the two and the fight was at the 'deep water' stage.
The fight had reached a tipping point.
    Groves had shot his load.
Groves did not react well to Frochs final assault - the ref was right on top of it and saw this.

What about the 2 judges, eh? dodgy or what??

Get of frochs cory. How did he do groves a big favour. Saying it was only a matter of time until he got knocked out is pure speculation. The facts are Groves was winning the fight there wasn't long left in the round he could of seen out the round then we would of seen what he was like in the next. Just like Foster did for Froch and froch was in a lot worse state than groves was in

Groves hadn't "shot his load" whatsoever.

He got caught, but was still defending himself, firing back at times and moving. The stoppage was ridiculous.
