They're both flat footed brawlers, who can hurt an opponent if they can get to them. Provodnikov stopped Alvarado, but so did Rios, in 7 rounds too.

I'd love to see Rios Provodnikov, it'll be Rios-Alvarado 2 except neither will give.

Since p4p ratings are a what have you done lately I don't think JMM and Pac should be that high, I know they have the skill but one is coming of a defeat and the other beat a guy coming of a loss

Yeah when you look at Bradley, Pac and JMM, they all beat each other

    Pac beat Bradley
    JMM beat Pac
    Bradley beat JMM

Bradley's win over Provodnikov helps him a little too. I think JMM is past his best and may struggle against WW's in future whereas Bradley is in his prime and probably beats most WW's atm. Pac is definitely still up there but needs a win over a more significant rival than Rios to climb into the top 3/4 again.

The Provodnikov victory was incredibly close, there was a dodgy call (I think in the first) where the ref failed to recognise a pretty clear knockdown, that would have made it a 10-8 round and levelled the scores. To be honest the Pac - Bradley fight wasn't even that close; Bradley lost that fight. Having said all that he comfortably outboxed Marquez so he's a bit of a tough one to place.

'Tis the nature of sub bantamweight... You're not alone.

But Ioka certainly would crack that list.

At a glance I'm actually cool with the list. Especially that I understand that a P4P top 30 list is begging for criticism...

However, things like Kovalev (love the guy) ahead of Devon Alexander doesn't make much sense. Golovkin ahead of Alexander doesn't make any sense... Alexander, honestly compared to those perceived as significantly better than him P4P, has one of the better resumes on that whole original post.

Gradovich def doesn't deserve to make the list. JF Estrada (love him too) is probably a little too high as well.

Chris John is a glaring omission. Not only is he top 30 P4P, he is almost certainly in the top 15.

The winner of Yaegashi vs. Sosa make a big splash onto the scene here.
