According to the Polish media and to Mariusz Wach himself, this fight is in negotiations for January 2014 on the card with Bute-Pascal.

It will not happen Joe, good fights wont happen in this garbage division.

Jennings fighting Vinny Maddalone and Wach Michale Sprott. Losers should be shot back in the head.

I find it difficult to believe too, but the Polish media has confirmed Wach's statement that the fight is in negotiations.

Previously Pulev told that he negotiated with Wach about their fight, as a pre-title fight before meeting Wlad

It's a very good HW matchup. I'll be looking forward to it.

Dan Rafael wrote that Jennings will probably be back on the Bute-Pascal card. He didn't say who he'd face but Jennings being on that card looks likely.

Good fight! Jennings has the better boxing ability, but he will have to watch out for Wachs power. I can't pick a winner here.

Yes. Jennings should win a decision unless he gets KOed.

Jennings is absurdly overrated. His only win was against a completely shot White Wolf. He was later kd'd by Bowie Topou and struggled against Fedosov, both sub top 50 HW's (who were still his next best wins). Hammer and Fields were at a higher level than anyone Jennings beat when he beat them, and Wach performed better against them. A Jennings decision is possible, but a late round stoppage by Wach is much more likely. I doubt the fight will be made though, if so, horrible matchmaking by team Jennings. Could have had a better paying fight against a fading Adamek with comparable risk, and been immediately a more credible title challenger if he got the victory.

Wach is 6 feet 8 inches tall, approx. 250 lbs. punches very hard. I would pick Wach to knock Wilder out, no doubt about it. Wach has a rock chin. Vlad won every round against Wach easily...........Wilder would not be able to hurt Wach, but Wach would hurt Wilder. Jennings is a better boxer than Wilder, but he would be up against a huge problem with Wach's chin, power and ability to go 12 rounds.

Vlad easily beat a Wach who tested positive for steroids after the fight and had a tampered glove which was caught by Vitali before the fight.............If Jennings or Wilder could go 12 rounds with Wach without getting knocked out, then the American referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. would give the decision to the American...............even if Wach knocked them down in all 12 rounds.

I pick Wach if the fight is on a level playing field. We just saw Froch get saved by his referee, boxing is crooked...........

By the way, I would pick Jennings to beat Wilder by knockout!

Both Mariusz Wach and Bryant Jennings are saying they want the fight.

It would be the co-feature of the Jan 18 Bute-Pascal HBO telecast.
