Why do you want Froch to lose by a brutal KO? So he says a few things you don't agree with, you're going to discount all the entertainment he's given the boxing community for years? People say ****, and you're doing just that, hoping for him to be brutalised. Groves is young and will get his chances. I'm just happy that none of them weren't seriously injured and can fight another day.
Outside of boxing, give me one redeeming feature of his personality that makes you like him. He's a scumbag. He's deluded, arrogant, insecure, egotistical and disrespectful. His ego doesn't allow him to admit his faults; he still claims the Ward fight was close for example when it wasn't even remotely competitive. I asked the question on twitter and somebody replied "He's a warrior and fights anybody!" okay, so like I asked one redeeming feature of his PERSONALITY outside of boxing. There isn't one. **** of a man. After the fight he was trying to claim that he thought he was "about level" on the scoring, he's a dick head. I thought it impossible to hate a boxer more than David Haye but Froch proved that wrong.
Why can't folk just enjoy what these two great fighters bring to the party, and not take all the trash talk quite so seriously/get so offended by it?
God knows what people think sometimes. Just because he comes out with a little bit of waffle, they get all steamed up and abusive. Is he good for British boxer, hell yes. He's given us some great fights a long the years and I will never forget the Pascal and Kessler fights. They go down as all-time classics in my book.
The abuse Carl Froch has had on this and other forums is disgusting. Carl Froch has been fantastic for British Boxing. Enough said, over to the trolls.
Boxing is an adversarial sport. Groves was goading Froch in a smug way and the main gripe is from Ringside where he was very immature, calling him a chump and asking if he's going to cry. After that Froch was on the verbal offensive because everyone had been saying how Groves had the upper hand.
I want him to get knocked the **** out cos I don't like him Pretty common amongst boxing fans. After all that is partly why we tune in isn't it? We can jazz it up how we like, but essentially boxing is people repeatedly punching each other in the face, albeit tremendously skilfully, with the potential for a KO. All for our enjoyment and viewing pleasure. :deal DEAL WITH IT
Everything he has ever done for British boxing is worthless because he said some things the op doesn't like. I don't understand it at all, it makes me feel sick to be honest. Believe me I'd be saying the same thing about GG if the situation was reversed. Call The Ref/Hearn names, they probably have it coming.
Really? After Chisora's escapades? Mayweather's racism and woman beating, Ward thinking he's the son of god? Khan talking constant waffle, the list is endless mate. Too many boxers talk ****, that's part for their egos. I just try and block it out and appreciate the boxers inside the ring.
What's stupid? The art of boxing is to HIT and not get HIT. Whilst aiming to either outpoint or KO your opponent. As fans, we often chose a fighter we like and a fighter we don't. In other fights we may be neutral. I don't want to see froch in an abduslamov type situation or end up like roach. I would however, like to see him KO'd and embarrassed.
