Dislike of Froch? Explain

Exactly. Not many boxers out there are articulate enough to talk trash. Only a few in boxing can actually get away with it like Toney, Hopkins, Haye, Malignaggi, Fury etc.

 

It's his post fight comments saying groves was unconscious and that the ref saved groves career.

He also claimed the crowd were booing because they wanted to see George taken out on a stretcher and didnt get the chance to see it, he's delusional. If post fight he had admitted the ref jumped in too early etc I don't think he'd be getting any stick, instead he's acting like he battered groves when in reality it was the opposite.

 

I could write a much longer list of moronic quotes. He's undergone a massive rebrand by the media of late which disguised him as this 'everyman' with a will of steel. His will is undoubted but he is far from a good bloke and his behaviour post fight proved it. McCracken has lost my respect too, he really needs to stop defending the stoppage; it was absolutely criminal and he knows it.

Look at the scoring in the fight too, they were prob going to give it to froch anyway and claim that he came on strong late. The whole shameful episode was a farce and I hope GG flattens him in a rematch if froch discovers the cojones to step in the ring with him again.

No, you said battered! It was a boxing match, George was winning the rounds and producing better work, and there was a **** stoppage. That has nothing to do with batterings.

After round 7 Groves was gassed, and Froch was coming on stronger it was clear to see. Nobody knows what would have happened and its not like Carls not done it before.

But in regards to your word battered, check groves face out and compare it to Froch's, and then ask someone who looks like they was battered. You obviously dont know much about boxing

 

Ok how about this then. Carl froch was definitely more hurt several times and allowed to continue. Carl froch was definitely further behind on the cards than the judges had him. Carl Froch definitely got an absolute gift.

I was there the night and took it that the boo's were for the ref rather than Froch. Obviously the crowd was wound up with the early stoppage and when froch said it should have been stopped and ontop that he was winning the fight they disagreed by booing but that was it.

Used to be a big fan until recently and i still respect him but... The way he started trashing Groves as soon as the fight was signed, and then trying to take the moral high ground and throw his toys out of the pram as soon as George offered him a taste of his own medicine was just sad. He has just got way too gassed with all this international superstar s hit
