you're crazy...that was exactly the reason why floyd wanted 60-40. floyd wanted the 60% in case he loses, hence his question to pac. "what if i lose?"

All made up lies by Pacquiao.

Anyways, no one implements stakes like that for boxing fights/purses. Not Ray Leonard, not Ray Robinson, not anyone.

Too much corruption in the sport to allow for it to happen. He wants more because he deserves more. He is the much bigger draw. :deal

Flexb actually makes a good point for once:D. A part of Floyd's drawing power are idiots like Flexb who pay to see him lose. Since less people think that Pac can win that means less and less knuckle dragers like flex will pay. So in theory this fight may not draw as much as many people think. So if that is the case, Flex is right and Pac should get less than 40 mill that he was offered before JMM4

Ok, instead of saying what I usually say, I will just say this.
I have a friend on twitter who is from the Philippines and she's also a Pacquiao fan.
However, she's just a casual fan and doesn't know that much about boxing.
That's the exact type of person the TS wants you to think he is.
    Anyway, back to my story.
I asked her if she saw the fight (Pacquiao vs Rios) and she said yeah and that she was happy that Manny had bounced back.
I then asked her who she thought would win in a fight, Mayweather or Pacquiao.
She said something along the lines of "I think Mayweather would probably win, Manny's old"
    Now that proves one thing.
Even casual fans have come to the realization that Mayweather would beat Pacquiao (atleast present versions of those guys).
How come the TS doesn't seem to know this you might ask.
Well, and not to sound like a broken record, buuuuuuuuuuut.
    He's a troll.
He doesn't really believe in anything he says on here.
Furthermore, he misspells atleast one word in every post and/or thread he creates.
Please refrain from posting in his threads because that would just encourage people to keep creating troll threads.
    Don't feed the troll

Even at the lower weight classes, Rios was heavier on fight night than Pacquiao one weight class higher. Rios is a proven banger and pressure fighter, and the way he took everything Alvarado had to offer in their first fight and knocked him out proved that he was a legit threat.

A tuneup fight is someone who poses no threat to beat you the way you were beaten previously. Historically, when a boxer gets knocked out, his first opponent back is someone who can't punch. That was the OPPOSITE of what they did when they put Rios in the ring against Pac.

Go look at Pacquiao's NSAC purses. :rofl

7.4 million max against Cotto while Floyd takes in 25 against Victor Ortiz.

without blaming sides as to why the fight hasn't yet been signed, name one fight that would be more competitive and make more money than floyd vs pac? i can't think of one. i think floyd would win a close decision and that pac would give him his closest fight of his career. i would love to see how floyd deals with pacs in and out southpaw style not to mention the speed. sign the fight, boxing fans want to see it!!!
