Alright lads and ladies, My Aussie mate has just bet me 1000 Mundine will beat Mosley, should I take it? I'm thinking to but want other opinions. Cheers

This isn't a fight I would bet on. If I had to though I'd maybe go for Mosely only because I don't think Mundine should be fighting at 154 what so ever. They're both pretty shot, I think Mosely more so but I think the weight will benefit him more.

Mosley is the better boxer, has the better chin and still has good power. Mundine is quick on his feet and has the height/reach advantage but he has been ko'd by fairly meagre opposition in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if Mosley landed something that stops it, if not he'll still win on points.

You can get 8/11 on Mosley, that's incredibly tempting!

Your first intelligent post.........I'm still unsure if Mundine will even make 154. Will Mosley still fight if he doesn't make weight? Mundine looked like a POW at the presser yesterday

Only action junkies should bet on this fight, in my opinion. On one hand, Mosley(even this version) is still a level above Mundine and he'll be extremely motivated for a win. Choc should also be weakened from cutting weight. On the other hand, the fight is taking place in Mundine's backyard and Shane has always struggled with movers. There are simply too many variables to make a pick with any confidence.

Mora didn't make the weight against Mosley, he came in at 156 and Shane still fought him, same thing will happen here IMO.

he has had 1 KO in the last 5 years..... he isnt knocking anyone out. and he only has 3 wins in his last 8 fights and is a 42 years old lightweight.... he wont even win this fight at this point

Possibly but this fight is nothing other than a paycheck for Mosley so can't see him risking a loss if Mundine doesn't make weight.

risking a loss? when you have 3 wins in your last 8 fights , there is no risk of losing, it obviously doesnt matter anymore at this point

After his last win he may get one more big shot.

Losing to cotto, mayweather, pacquiao and canelo is one thing....lose to mundine and it is all over.
