I watched the bradley-pacquaiao fight a couple of times. the first time was live on ppv. i had bradlley winning it by closing the show much stronger than the winded pacquaio in the last 5 rounds. so, i wasn't surprised when the judges called it for bradley. after all the so-called controversy i watched the fight again just to re-confirm what i thought i had seen... it was close, but bradley did enough to win that fight just due to late rounds activity. a lot of the so-called outrage comes from the fact that pacquiao is so popular and well-liked and appeared to be in control in the early rounds. also, the hbo commentary was biased toward pacquiao, so fans watching at home really believed that pacquaio was dominating every round. and lastly, the fact that bradley is black and not a big name fighter made him unsympathetic to the pro-pacquiao crowd. boxing judges get a bad rap for the times they screw up...but once in a while they do get it right. to be honest i was waiting for one of the judges to call the pacman-rios fight 114-114 like the mayweather-alvarez mismatch.
What planet are you on, all the viewing public press and boxing world (a few haters aside) called that fight for pac man, I had Pac up by 4 on my card and have watched the fight back a few times now I can't see how you can give Bradley more than 4 rounds and even those could have gone either way. I really like Bradley. I think he's a great (and I mean Great) fighter and he's smart as hell and seems to be a good man. Also, Bradley gets better with time. Lots to like about Bradley. In fact, Bradley is my favorite Boxer and I think he's the best Champion Boxing has had in a very long time - he brings a lot of credibility to a sport that needs it. However, Bradley did not beat Pacquiao. Go look at the fight again.
the judges are paid to score fight...not vote for a popularity contest. all three judges had the fight very close. a couple of rounds swing both ways. all your jacked up scoring goes to show iis that you don't know how to score a fight or your biased in favor of pacman too.
c'mon dude, pac was winded in the last 5 rounds...bradley was beating his a88 and the commentators were acting like they didn't notice any of bradley's punches. you watch the fight again.
I have no bias towards either fighter, I have much respect for both fighters they are both elite and at the top of there games. The reason it was so close on all the score cards from the so called judges is the fix was in. It's impossible for so many people to get it that wrong I am afraid. You are in a minority of about 1% who think Bradley won that fight the other 99% made up of fans pundits and other boxers what makes you think you know better than them ? Negative amigo. Look at some of the judges cards RBR. No way you can give Bradley some of the rounds he was given. No way some of those rounds "swing both ways." Pretty sure one of those was round 5.
the really weird thing about this fight is, the judges are watching the fight and calling it practically even. one judge had it for pac 7-5. the other two had it for bradley 7-5. clearly it was a very close fight in reality, even if most people were caught up in the pacman group-think hype. and if you thinik about it, bradley beat marquez easy too...so maybe the judges saw bradley-pac fight correctly.
Cereal I am no fan boy of Pacquaio, I watched that fight no caring who won I just wanted to see a good fight. The result was a robbery the fight was not close 7 - 5 Bradley on 1 card would have been a disgrace but 2 was a stain on boxing,
