    Never seen this thread before!

Anyone care to guess what the odds for Mayweather decision would be?

SHO/GBP - HBO/TR animosities indicate that this fight won't happen even if Pac rematches Bradley and JMM V and wins clearly.

Anyway probably the rematch with Bradley will happen but the 5th fight with JMM I doubt it will ever happen.

JMM sealed his legacy with that K.O win over Pac.

What is the date of this video? Was it before or after the first Nego's broke down because Team Pac walked away because of drug testing?

75/25. Take it, or leave it.
Floyd don't really need Pac for his legacy or to make more money.
Rather, it is Pac who needs Floyd to make money at the expense of his legacy, which would be diminsihed following the bout where he loses to Mayweather worst than Marquez.

70-30 is fair, Floyd is the bigger fish now and he would do most of the promoting.

I think if that was the offer he'd just leave it. As to who needs who, face it neither of them is going to be eating beans out a can anytime soon. This is Floyd's legacy fight so he should want it more than Pac. A win for Floyd to me would elevate him in the top 15 ATG's. But a win for Pac would make their ATG rankings very interesting, might even set up a rematch depending on how close the fight ended up being.

70-30 is the only fair split. 30% is already an extraordinary amount and would net him more money than he's ever made in any single fight of his career.

Pac should stop crying and take the fight. He's already having massive financial troubles, he needs this fight for his legacy and financial means.

We already know that Pac has no chance. He should go there for a paycheck, throw 1 or 2 punches a round, not get embarrassed too much and lose a wide points decision and then go commit to being a congressman for his country. He will never beat Floyd, not in this lifetime at least.

60-40 seems the fairest split, to me, for many reasons.

One reason being that Floyd has been the bigger draw, but this clearly isn't, potentially, the biggest PPV ever without both sides offering a substantial amount to the equation.

Mayweather, himself, is an interesting dichotomy. He draws exceptionally well, but only because people want to see if he can keep his "0" and not for the entertainment of his fights. He drops a fight and he loses a significant amount of viewership for his next fight. This isn't the case for Pacquiao, who will only lose viewership when his crowd pleasing style fades away alongside a few more losses.

I think, furthermore, that Floyd needs this fight more than Pac, although both could use it for their legacies. Without defeating Pac, Floyd walks around the rest of his life with an asterisk and one question every time he sits down to discuss his career of "Why didn't you fight Pacquiao?" Pac can probably get away with not fighting Mayweather, to an extent.

60/40 in favor of Mayweather. Give or take 5 percentage points.

Whatever it is, it must be fair to both fighters and based on the proven numerical values of their drawing power.
