Froch will only rematch Ward if Ward comes over to England and we all know that Ward would not waste his time here.

Froch is getting desperate, Groves is the only fight he has left and he'll lose the rematch.

If Froch doesn't fight Groves again, then I can care less whether or not he gets a rematch with Ward.

And I hope Ward fights Groves just to stick it to Froch.

Dont see any problem with Froch wanting to rematch Ward. It was a close fight and Froch did all of the travelling for it.
Froch is an old slow, past best SMW and possibly looking for a big final payday.

Its possibly a good fight for Ward, as Froch is an old limited fighter and Ward would then not fight a puncher mover like Bute

Sadly for Groves he has lost his unbeaten record and even though I think the stoppage was awful and think Groves would have gone on to win, it is still a shattering blow and we dont know if Groves will be the same fighter.
I have said this before but an undefeated fighter has a different level of confidence that often goes with a loss

    What?

Ward embarassed Froch and the funny thing is Ward will NEVER come to England to fight and he shouldn't do.

    True.

It will be very interesting to see the opponent Groves looks to rebound back against.

In his mind he was robbed and is basically still undefeated. Groves would be even more determined after the injustice of the first fight and even more confident because he now knows he can outbox and hurt Froch.

Groves would probably knock ward out because he can box has speed and punch accuracy and power.

    Wrong.

I think Froch's confidence has been shattered and his interviews certainly reflect it.

Of course he does. If he lands one hard shot on Ward, the fat British ref will jump in and wave it off.

mind you calzaghe was very lacking in confidence and he was unbeaten, albeit with a largely weak regional-national resume that didn't inspire confidence at all. SO its not as simple as that, I guess unbeaten don't mean jack****.

I was going to say exactly the same as this. his confidence will not be knocked because he would of probably of won the fight if he wasn't robbed.

Groves doesnt seem the type who will be crushed by his first loss ala Naseem Hamed. Seems a genuine and down to earth guy. If anything i reckon it will drive him on

And remember too at the start of the fight, he was booed. Well he won over the crowd with that awesome display and then bull**** stoppage. The Brits have always loved a valiant loser, that fight will have done good things for George's career

As for Froch wanting Ward only in UK, well you can see why lol. First bit of trouble and the ref puts Ward in a headlock
