What did his straight left do to JMM in their first fight? Yep, first one lands, drops JMM, and 2 more follows in the same round.

The straight left from a southpaw stance will go straight down the middle of that shoulder roll, which is why Floyd will have to change his stance, either way, Pac's left has the potential to drop and hurt Floyd. Now I can't think of the last time Floyd seriously hurt someone with his straight right..maybe when Ortiz wasn't looking.

 

Do idiots who make threads like this take the time out to think before they post stupid ****. Pacquaio's speed couldn't overwhelm and slow ass punching bag like Rios. It dam sure couldn't overwhelm a 40 yr old Marquez. But it's going to overwhelm the p4p#1, and best defensive fighter in the sport who's quicker than both the guys I just mentioned. Well you are obviously the moron. First you question my credentials, and find out you are wrong, so you cant accept it.

And secondly, you never heard the expression taking 3 to land 1? It's not literal you ****ing moron. Such terms has been used in the past for guys like Chavez, who was said to take 3 to land 1, most notably Taylor fight.

No fighter goes into a fight to try take 3 punches to land 1, however at worst case scenario, EVEN if Floyd were to land 3 right hands on Pac, it'll bother Pac but it wouldn't be fight ending. However, if Pac is to land 1 clean left on Floyd, it could potentially be fight ending, or at least seriously hurt Floyd, in that regard, that 1 punch carries more weight, more value than 3 lighter punches.

I do remember when they said that Cotto and Mosley are too big for Pacquiao. Then when the show time had arrived, Cotto has tasted his first knock down from Manny's left fist, Cotto all of a sudden start to dance and running away from him all the way when he heard about knocking him out from the audience. Same thing with Mosley. I cant really forget that moment.

 

I think that Floyd Sr. see's something in Manny that doesn't suit Mayweather but i still think Mayweather wins a competitive matchup. I see it as being a more competitive version of Zab vs. Mayweather... because of Manny's speed and southpaw stance... but Mayweather still wins

All of that said, I just think that PBF SR. see's something in Manny he doesn't like and if Floyd Sr. doesn't like the fight; Floyd Jr. will not take it.

Uncle Roger has no problem with it.... Manny has no problem... Arum has no problem... Many is in a tight financial bind, at this rate Floyd can possibly squeeze 65-35 split in Floyd's favor and also get more percentage on PPV if he takes this fight.

Roach makes it seem like Mayweather hand speed is on Rios level or something. Mayweather hands speed is on par with Manny's so there won't be that much of an advantage.
