Well he doesn't have to fight Boytsov now cause he got exposed by Leapia despite Kalle Sauerland pushing that fight.....

I agree Perez is a tough fight for anyone though. Head to head he's one of the best. Until the Mago fight his matchmaking has been pathetic though considering his ability. He was always considered a much better prospect than Fury, Chisora and Price about 3 years ago yet look how their careers have panned out.

He had to foul and moleste Povetkin with the help of a corrupted ref just to get the W. That was no 'fight'

Neither Wlad, nor Pulev are ducking anybody. Arranging a world title fight is not as simple as that.

Pulev stated that if and only if Wlad doesn't give him a fight before mid-2014, he'd like to have a tune up fight, just so he wouldn't stay inactive. Wlad-Povetkin passed and as far as I know nobody from K2 has contacted Sauerland to offer Pulev the fight, even after Pulev called out Wlad both before and after his Thompson fight. After he's got no news of Wlad wanting to give him his shot any time soon, it is only natural for him to arrange other fights and that has happened about a month ago when he started his training camp for the Dec 14th date. Now I don't know if Sauerland are working behind the scenes and are trying to milk him for one or two fights more before they let him fight Wlad, but I don't think Pulev would refuse a fight vs Wlad in 2014 if they offer it to him.

As for Wlad, until IBF forces him to defend his title he's got the full right not to fight Pulev. Pulev is not one of the fighters that would make the most lucrative fights and it is completely understandable if he wants to fight other fighters for more money while having less of a risk of a loss. The only way I would say Wlad is ducking Pulev is if he actually vacates his title so he wouldn't fight him when IBF forces him to fight or relinquish the title.

So yah, why don't you guys stop with the ducking BS. Ducking is usually pretty obvious and happens when there's actually an offer with a fight on the table. I don't see anything like this at the current moment. Truth is, Wlad holds the titles, he decides who he should fight next and until IBF force him to defend it and he refuses, nobody can accuse him of ducking.

I'm still trying to get over how Boytsov could've come in so bad as to lose this one. This was supposed to be a gimme. If it had been one knockout punch that did it I could understand-Leapai can hit and it can happen to anybody. BUT losing a decision to Leapai? How did he not kayo this guy over ten? Wlad's almost certainly getting Leapai next if Pulev wants one more like he said before challenging.

    :good

And if Wlad will fight the winner Lepsai /Boytsov it is a good choice.
Lepsai won the fight against the No. 1 contender. So he deserve a fight.

After Povetkin Wlad made opt for a softer defense and Leapai has earned the right to fight him so I think he may go there next. There is talk from Leapai's camp about having the fight in China which would be interesting. After just defending in Russia perhaps Wlad will start globe trotting his defenses.

Leapai is Vlad's WBO mandatory. Vlad just fought Povetkin, knocked Thompson out two times, knocked out Austin in the second round, who was his mandatory, Vlad only used his left to easily knock Austin out, a Don King fighter...............Vlad has fought better competition than any other heavyweight other than Vitali. Vitali and Vlad's competition is far superior to Wilder's who in ranked WBC #3 without fight anyone nearly ranked. Vlad has mentioned fight Wilder, don't know if that fight will happen though.

Stiverne is in court with Don King. Don King will not allow him to fight anyone from what I read. Arreola is #2 WBC, Vitali has already knocked him out,
Wilder is #3 WBC, so if Vitali were to fight Wilder it would make sense..........

The IBF will not force Wlad to do anything. They are the most currupt org out there. Do some research and you will find that out.
They were in court on multiple corruption charges and still have Lemont Peterson as their light welter weight champ.

The IBF gave Wlad the Thompson rematch when he failed to win the final eliminator but did not so the same for Pulev who is clearly a big risk fight.
Bonte controling these orgs with payouts to avoid fights outside and inside the ring is as good as a duck.

Are you privy to some info we are not???

Pulev???? Has he been partying and letting himself go since his last fight?

Or for that matter, for the past 3 yrs????

If the Puelv who has fought a half dozen top 40s shows up for his stay busy fight, he'll look to make a statement.

Boystovs problem was that he hadnt taken boxing seriously since like 2010.:-(

Christ you are a ******. Wlad will fight Pulev eventually. Maybe not his next fight or even the fight after that but in 2014 or 2015 at the latest.

BTW, the IBF forced Wlad to fight Thompson a second time. Wlad didn't want that fight but did it anyway.

They signed to fight Sherman Williams, that, plus everyone else's collective memory would seem to suggest that he wanted one more fight.
