The same can be said for Groves if were being honest. If I was Froch seeing the hatred on some of the fourms and the way so called fans have turned on him, Id be thinking twice. Is it not what Khan did ?

    Golovkin-Froch wouldn't last long.
JCCJ - Froch has no public interest in my opinion.
Ward-Froch doesn't make financial sense as it wouldn't be PPV in America or UK, plus if Ward beats him convincingly again where does Froch's career go?
Groves-Froch 2 is the only one with massive potential, although Froch would be finished if he loses.
I think Froch Kessler 3 could still happen if Kessler is keen.

I dont understand why we are so negative towards our own fighters.

Hearn yes, boxing is a business and he's a clever business man.

Are you on glue ? You do realise how much Chavez jr brings to fights . He could fight the local roadsweeper and make multiple millions of pounds. The Chavez fight makes much more money for froch than groves does.

He is of no value to the British public. Could never be a PPV fight in a million years.

Disagree all you like, the average casual will have no idea who he is and if they do it will only be because of his old man.

As much as you want to believe otherwise, ask the casual man in the pub type fan who Chavez Jr is and they wont have a clue. You would need some real good marketing if they wanted that PPV over here and it still wouldnt garner many sales

Froch/Hearn will want it ppv in this country. You say global, more like Mexico will buy it but the cut on that will be negotiated heavily in Chavez's favour. Hearn needs it ppv here to get Froch that percentage of sales.

I cant speak for every person who only takes a passing interest in boxing apart from the ones i know and they dont know who Chavez is.

So nice try with your tone but i stand by what i said.

For the record I'm a backer of Groves but how can you say Golovkin v Froch wouldn't last long??

    - GGG would be stepping up in weight, is his power as "great" at 168? We don't know yet.
    - Froch is a country mile better than anyone GGG has fought.
    - Froch isn't the type of guy who get's bombed out, he's made of iron. The weekend proved that.
    - Golovkin hasn't fought anyone near the level Froch has.

As it stands, GGG v Froch at 168 - Froch has to be the favourite.

I never said he would or wouldnt :huh

i was talking about the Chavez fight being marketable over here. Massive fight in Mexico maybe, but i just dont think Froch will get loads for it

pretty sure GGG v froch would be similar to groves froch in first 6 rounds, with froch on back foot taking multiple face pounded, i think GGG would incorparate more bodyshits and eventually finish froch.

Harold Lederman was saying yesterday he'd rather see Groves v Ward than Froch v Ward. You have to assume he has at least some of the inside line at HBO and in his opinion Groves was robbed and should treat it as a win, move on and step-up. His advice to Groves was forget about Froch.

So Froch probably does have options as Hearn said. But maybe so does George. It'll be interesting negotiations to say the least.
