No he hesn't the thing he's lost is his stamina to keep up the brilliant in and out / headmovment and hand speed like he used to.

    THat's what he's lost.

Roach couldn't be more wrong and for those of you saying Manny is a bad style matchup for Floyd are way off. Its actually the other way around. Floyd is the worst style for Manny and Manny would get a boxing lesson. How you can't see that is beyond me. I understand its cliche to say but most of you never actually break down why you think Manny is a bad style for Floyd. You throw out **** like speed, and 10 punch combinations which makes no sense bc Manny isn't landing 10 punch combinations. Hell he won't even land a 4 punch combo on Floyd. Back up what you say by breaking it down. Floyd is a bad style matchup for Manny. You may not agree but if you may please dispute what I say.

First of all Floyd and Manny have 2 things in common and 2 things only. They both have great hand speed and foot speed and that is where it ends.

Floyd is actually quicker than Manny though and if you don't understand that then you need to learn a thing or two. Floyd is a master at controlling the range as well and that right there alone makes it a bad style matchup for Manny. Floyd will have the longer reach, height advantage and Floyd has way better foot work. Most of you confuse Manny's foot speed with footwork which his foot work is not that great. As a matter a fact JMM and other fighters who are slower than him in foot speed have better foot work than Manny. Roach was begging Manny to get his lead foot to the outside of JMM in fight 3 and manny couldn't do it. Imagine how bad Floyd is going to mind screw him.

Two other things that make it a bad style matchup for Manny is the fact that he doesn't jab, and he doesn't have an inside game. Floyd will be jabbing the hell out of him, timing him and still maintaining defensive responsibilities.

Speed will not be a problem for Floyd bc he has quick reflexes, timing, length, and he is smarter and capable of taking that away from Manny.

Now I will end it with this and I hope someone will respond to this with substance. We all know what Floyd is capable of defensively and offensively. We know that he has the defense to deal with Manny's offense and when I say defense I mean, blocking, making him miss, tying up, smothering, shoving off, dipping low and under and giving lateral movement.

For those of you who say Manny is a bad style matchup are only looking at Manny's offense which puts you in the same box as Roach and every one else trying to figure out this Mayweather puzzle.

I want one person to answer this. How does Manny deal with Floyd's offense? The key to beating Floyd is not getting through his defense but shutting down his offense and his offense is A+. Too accurate, too smart and has enough power to get respect.

Who said it was? The point is, its his primary form of defence, and if that's taken away, he becomes a lesser fighter for it, lesser enough to perhaps make a difference in a fight with someone against the likes of Pacquiao. Judah found the mark on Floyd, and somehow Pac's cant? Possibly the best straight left of all time, not even exaggerating. Every opponent knows its coming, yet unable to do anything about it. Only JMM has and it took him 4 bouts, a bloody nose, a KD along the way with Heredia to boot.

Pac has been the shorter guy for a long time now, Mosley, Cotto, ODLH all had longer reach (hear comes the excuses). Pac will get in with his footspeed and throw flurries, missing some, landing some, and as we saw in the Mosley, JMM and Cotto fights, he can drop you with 1 punch.

I predicted Cotto would be a tough fight for Floyd, after Pac just destroyed Cotto and everyone laughed their ass off, because of course, Floyd is untouchable in a fantasy fight. The point is, Cotto had success because he possessed certain qualities that could trouble Floyd, that is cutting off the ring, long jab and good combinations. Pacquiao possesses even more qualities that could trouble Floyd stylistically.

Cotto blodied Floyd in that fight, yet you all think he will somehow come out unscathed against Pac. Delusional.

It snot Floyd's primary form of defense dude. Floyd's defense isn't just about the shoulder roll. He has his high guard as well. Also his defense is about his reflexes, foot work, ring IQ etc. For example his jab to the gut doesn't just score points for him but it also keeps him out of range of his oppnent and forces them to reset.

Pac doesn't posses the qualities to trouble Floyd. Manny doesn't have a jab, inside game and he can't cut off the ring. His speed, power and volume punching can be cut down bc it has before by lesser fighters than Floyd.

Also understand that Floyd is a better and even smarter boxer now than he was when he fought Judah and Judah has a different style than Manny. Judah was jabbing and slick. Also take into account that Judah and Floyd had sparred several times growing up etc. They knew each other. Speed is not enough to beat Floyd.

Speed and setting up a punch aren't mutually exclusive, it was both. Mosley was FAST for the first 3 rounds against FMJ. I didn't claim it was the fastest punch, I said it was a fast punch. Nitwits.

Funny how you ******s are putting words in Mayweather Jr mouth bc Floyd Sr is giving his opinion. What Manny needs to do is get his father Arum to go into negotiations and work a deal out. Also Manny needs to get his **** together regarding his taxes.

So just cause Floyd sr said this means Floyd jr will listen to him? Are ppl that ******ed? Floyd Sr is the same man that says he will make sure Floyd fight Canelo at 147 pounds but yet the fight was at 152 pounds which is 5 pounds more then what Floyd Sr wanted. If Floyd Jr does fight Pacquiao next, let me ask all you Floyd haters, if he beats pacquiao, will you all give him credit? Please give me an honest answer.

so now after i broke down how pac matches up well with mayweather, it has now become floyd is a bad style matchup for pac because of his A++ level of offense and footwork, controlling dist, etc, etc?

so the argument that is floyd is the faster, stronger, bigger and better master defensive tactician than marquez is out the window?

so you agree that mayweather shoulder roll will not work against a southpaw like pacquiao?

do you also agree that his jab (scoring jabs against ortho) is less effective against southpaw and jst becomes more like a range finder or distance gauge or something?

do you also agree that floyd will not stand in there looking to shoulder pac's punches and counter?

so we can put to rest now that the floyd beats pacquiao because floyd is a better defensive tactician than marquez?

marquez beat pacquiao not with defense but with offense and needed 4 tries to do it. not to mention, he has to hang his chin in there and traded to land his own. floyd doesnt have the chin to do this.

floyd chin, imo, will be his achilles heel is this fight.

any southpaw with speed is going to land square on his chin because he is squared up against southpaws.

watch how many straight left judah landed on his chin. if judah has some pop on his punches, he was going to put floyd on the defensive, instead floyd walked him down.

no one tried to walk pac down and didnt pay the price.

once pac lands a straight left to flloyd's chin, he will be put on the defensive, if not on survival mode. but we already establish defense isnt going to win against pac, so.

what A++ level offense against southpaw floyd has? its the same stuff i see over and over again.

are you trying to say floyd will walk pac down with a high guard?

stand in there and try to counter pac? bradley tried this early on, and pac broke his 2 ankles bec bradley couldnt keep up.

bradley tried to stick and move but largely ineffective because his jab only land on pac's lead arm. so bradley was flicking his jab on pac's arm like a fool thinking he was scoring the whole time. well the judges thought the same so maybe he was right.

pac will deal with floyd's offense the same way he deals with all the orthodox he fought. get off first and put the pressure on the other guy or feint and counter.

floyd will land his share of lead rights and straight the same way pac will land his.

so now it is down to who hits harder, since the speed is about even. or are you saying pac wont land a straight left on floyd? if judah and cotto can land on floyd, so can pac.

once that floyd's chin is tapped, floyd will be on defensive the whole fight.

you dont beat floyd by shutting his offense, you beat him by putting him on the defense by hitting him in his chin so hard he doesnt want to be hit there again. floyd will shut his own offense because he wil be more focused on protecting his chin.

but we already established, defense hardly works on southpaws, that is why floyd becomes teh aggressor against them.

floyd's chin, the chin he hid for so long, will be his undoing in the fight.
