Lennox Lewis was the true king of the H.W divison in the 1990's, and the early 2000's. And he proved so, he dominated most H.W's. And he severed the eye of injury prone Vitali Quitko.

Carl Froch is a fraud and Groves was robbed against him. Lewis and Calzaghe were the real deal!

Lewis don't need no Byrd, don't need no little Klit, all he wanted was Johnson. Johnson aroused his passion for the sport, but when he saw how fat and limp Johnson was, he lost his will, he couldn't get up anymore. It happens to most middle aged men.

Lewis was definitely the #1 HW of the 90's

    #2 = Holyfield.

    That much is true

And he is also British. Look it up.

Also...Lewis destroyed the "Baddest Man on the Planet".

    And....Calzaghe Humped Bernard Hopkins.

We got to watch out for those Brits...they are sneaky and dangerous.

Lewis just wanted to work that fat Johnson over ith his strong left hand, and finish him off with his right in spectacular fashion. He would have make quick work of it, he had the skills and experience. But a Klit couldn't motivate him enough to use those skills, so he got fat and lost his will. He would have licked Johnson good, no dobut, but no interest in Byrd or Klit.

Yes. He wisely decided to fight under the British flag in a carefully designed charade to help further maximize earning potential. No shame in that. Boxing is a difficult sport, and he deserved the greater recognition and superior earnings that came with that decision. But make no mistake, it was a marketing ploy employed specifically for that reason.

I'm just stating the facts, Lewis' disinterest in Byrd is well documented.

But there is little doubt he wanted to lick Johnson real good.
