To me Groves proved he hits a lot harder than Carl.

Hoe would a "warrior" take that? This fight will haunt Froch forever unless he takes the rematch

Imagine Matchroom trying to plug that! Even fast car Eddie must realise the people don't want that fight, no matter how much money they put in trying to sell it :patsch

Not sure his power carry late tho. After that 6th round the extra pop in his punches started to fade IMO

He has a lot more explosive power than Froch, that much is true. The combination of his quick hands, technique, and the power gives him that edge clearly. But that doesn't mean that Froch doesn't crack pretty hard himself, it's just more "beat you up" power than KO power.

All I was saying is that the stoppage was obviously bad, but in my view, Groves talking about how he was the real winner is as delusional as Froch saying that it was a good stoppage. With one minute and a half left in the 9th round, I very much doubt Groves gets off the hook given how bad he was looking at the time. That said, he deserves a rematch for certain.

He numbed Froch with a jab in the eighth round and then bounced some right hands off of him in the round the fight got stopped. Watch it again. I'd say his power was still there. Who knows? Thanks to the ref, we never got the chance to find out.

At this point in time. Ward wins by stoppage imo.

Groves has that fast-twitch explosive power, so earlier in the fight he's especially dangerous. Froch is heavy handed.

He landed a right hand in the first round that he will never land as well again on anyone...brutal punch. He then must of caught Froch with another 40 hard punches, but he didn't knock him out. Must of got slightly frustrating and I think thats why he dropped the game plan and started going toe-to-toe

Froch's chin is obviously great but groves punches were getting weaker.
