This was way after 2009 and after initial negotiations.

As of this moment, Pacquiao has agreed to all testing, which is fine. Something he should have done 4 years ago!

Pacquiao's top adviser Michael Koncz stated that Pacquiao had never agreed to testing until fight day (which contradicted Arum and the Pacquiao camp)

    But 50-50 split? No way!

70-30 is the only correct split.

    Yeah.

Someone who wanted to make sure there was no cheating wouldn't leave a 14 day window.

Why can't someone be tested in the 14 days leading into competition?

No reason. Well, there is one reason...

Yeah funny because Mayweather kept changing on the testing from 20 something days to 14 and then all the way up to the fight..

Dude has so many excuses and the whole public knows that its Mayweather running away from Pac.

And Pacquiao constantly refuses. Why is he willing to do them now and not 4 years ago?

    1. Because he was on PEDS back then when he was in his prime.

He knew Pacquiao was going to say "NO" and everyone knew/expected that as well. He was clearly coming off as bitter, jealous and full of hate when he brought up the blood testing and followed it up with "I think he's on something, no way he beats those guys the way he's doing". If he's going to come and **** on Pacquiao's position and parade like that he's going to get a "**** off" for it, plain and simple. As I explained countless times in this thread, Pacquiao's position was higher than Mayweather's in the sport at the time and to accept disrespect like that would belittle him as desperate when he clearly had other options worth considering. There's a reason the media **** on Mayweather just as hard as Pacquiao did when he offered that nonsense and started publicly insulting. It took 2-3 years for the media to finally side with Mayweather on this case as other fighters accepted to follow Mayweather's footsteps by accepting the testing to get spots on his undercards and from his opponents for the payday they desperately wanted.

Accepting it years later was also explained by me within the first page of this thread and here's the post.

cherrypicker's long layoffs and "retirements" is the perfect time to cycle the PEDs- Mayweather.

Pacquiao 1 year lay off and then VADA testing against Rios. :deal

4 years ago- Afraid of needles, refusal to do any sort of random blood/urine testing

Right now- "I want to do all testing!"

    :dead

It's too bad. He'll never ever get the fight again.

Mayweather doesn't need him. Pacquiao is desperate for a payday because he's broke.

It's sad. Pacquiao squandered the fight for the world!

Pacquiao is still the biggest asterisk on Mayweather's resume.

Why are they always talking about this fight? :deal

I'm a Floyd supporter, always will be but something crossed my mind today. I analyzed a potential fight between those two, and stylistically I always thought Floyd would beat him in a landslide. But thinking about it objectively today, that fight is really a toss up. No one really knows how that would play out.

I can't think of two styles that contrast eachother so much. Literally. They are two TOTALLY opposite fighters. They do nothing alike.

My mind says Floyd will outbox him. But then I remember while Floyd does have good power, he doesnt have KO power. So Maybe Pacquiao COULD overwhelm him with just non stop attack. ( I still think Floyd is miles better than Pacquiao and he is)

On the other hand, if Pacquiao does go with an all out attack Floyd could be in counterpuncher heaven with his reflexes, defense and boxing IQ.

If this fight lived up to the hype, it would definitely be the greatest fight ever. I cant think of two fighters in the history of the sport who contrast eachother SO MUCH.

My money would still be on Money because I would never bet against Floyd, but thinking about it objectively, and not just picking a side and arguing with you *******s because Lord knows you mother-------- are annoying. It could honestly go either way. Too many possible outcomes. Pacquiao could be to aggressive and that could be his demise, Floyd could be too defensive and that could be his demise.

Now more than ever this fight needs to happen. I really want it too now. I really really wanna see it. Both camps are at fault for this fight not happening by the way. BOTH.

Money-Pac 2014. Floyd doesnt need this fight, he's rich as hell and could make money elsewhere. But boxing needs this fight. in 20 years I really dont wanna go around saying "what if" that would suck.

I hope more interesting infos will get leaked soon about this subject.
I'm very curious to know why some of the top US fighters don't want VADA to test them . :think

something is getting fishy right here :yep

I favor Mayweather but his supporters seem to think it would just be a walk in the park. It's not an even matchup in my opinion but it isn't a lopsided fight either.

I would love to see it but unfortunately I don't think it is going to happen. If it does happen, it will be way past the expiration date for both guys (and probably just a payday for both guys). Think RJJ-Bhop II.

I hate threads like these. They can't meet up in an alley in downtown brooklyn and fight. Stop saying "Make the fight happen" there have to be terms and agreements. shut the f--- up.

If Pacquiao vs Mayweather does happen, it will be the biggest boxing or fighting event ever.

No wonder why everyone is still talking about it after the Pacquiao vs Rios fight.
