guilty as charged. but i can admit i was being subjective. i think its a good fight. not because i think pac is anywhere close to floyd as far as skills. but because styles make fights and they are so different.

yeah Floyd fighting 1 fight / year and have those big periods of layoffs is pretty questioning. :think

    anyway :

    LOL, ask yourself...

A fighter that cannot cut off the ring

Eats right hands over and over and over and over

Has zero ring IQ or plan B

Has no real jab or a defense against a jab

Goes to sleep , literally against a hand picked, old, did I say old brawler

Against another fighter who does all of the above exceptionally well and then some more..

    This fight would have been a let down in 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 etc .. you get my drift

I understand all the Pac fans which have to be 99% Filipino on this board want to give their boy a payday but competitve the fight will not be. If Pac boxes he will be shut out , if he rushes in reckless he will not see the distance.

Something to consider for Pac fans..........forget about the lights out punch in the 6th, the slow ass telegraphed right that put him on his ass earlier is a tell tale sign of major concern what will happen if he faces FMJ.

I think it also could go either way. Manny struggled against a counterpuncher in JMM yes, and logically since Floyd is technically superior people think it would be easy work...and depending on how Manny gameplanned it could be.

However, Mayweather has fought endurance challenged fighters who are basically stationary for the last few years. That won't even come close to preparing you for Manny. Mosley had speed in the first 3 round of their fight before gassing out and he did pretty well during that time. Manny doesn't have Mosley's power, but he can hurt Floyd.

The ball is in Mannys court, because Floyd will fight like Floyd. If Manny can throw 900 punches and not get frustrated like the last 5 or 6 guys Floyd faced, he could make it close.

Will Floyd CATCHweather request a catchweight or would he say that he is moving up to the full limit of jrMW?

LOL at the fails in this post. I don't disagree that Floyd could possibly shut him out, but your lack of boxing knowledge is laughable.
    1. That "telegraphed" punch was actually a disguised body shot that Marquez had been landing earlier and he brought that one up top. As a matter of fact I think Nacho even said as much in the post fight.

    2. Floyd is gonna knock Manny out? Other than Ortiz being a moron and letting a guy land 2 free flush punches on him (which didn't even put Ortiz out cold) he has stopped Just Hatton since 2006.

You guys will never learn, Pac overwhelms his opponents which mostly were stuck in the mud face first brawlers or severely declined fighters at the tail end of their careers. Put him in with those he will look like a million bucks but give him ANY boxing and he is **** out of luck.

He ain't even got a punchers chance..........his fans claim he looked better than ever in the last JMM fight besides the Ko's, lol, he is soooooooooooo wide open for jabs/staight rights and uppercuts when he falls in it is not even funny, if that version shows up and if that is supposed the best than you guys will be for a bitter surprise because he will eat a **** load of leather.

Emm no...everybody thinks Floyd is still scared shitless of a match with Pacquiao aside from the hardcore *****s like you. There are more people who think Mayweather will win now, but that's not what we're talking about. It's about Floyd being scared. The midget got KTFO in front of millions and Floydette STILL doesn't have the balls to fight him. I mean, seriously?

I used to think Mayweather was just an opportunist, meaning that he'd try to fight Pac once Pac had lost steam and was more vulnerable, but here we are, that time has come and he's still ducking. His fear of the midget apparently knows no bounds :-(

Hatton was also the last guy Floyd faced who wAs about the same size as Floyd

Ortiz, DLH, Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo. All outweighed Money

Hatton and Marquez were around his size, he was actually slightly bigger than Marquez ( I know he missed the CW by 2 lbs. but hes not a fighter who cuts water weight, evident in his fight with Canelo. 150 on fight night. 151 at the weigh in) and in those fights he Knocked out Hatton and Knocked down Marquez. Manny routinely weighs about 150 on fight night too. He could hurt Manny.

    Noob..........

like in the JMM fight Pac forced the KO all mad, frustrated and reckless......he is as dumb as a house mouse, if he would have any brain he would have been patient and set the old man up .........FMJ will frustrate him beyond JMM will ever be able to do that is as good as death and taxes.............I predicted that years ago and for the last time, if Pac fights as reckless as in the go to sleep fight he WILL get laid out as a matter of fact Pac WILL be flat out KO'ed within the near future, he is a ticking time bomb and needs to cash in.

Oh I totally agree that Floyd could hurt Manny, but to assume that Floyd would finish him based on his success rate at 147 or above makes no sense. Floyd also has brittle hands. Floyd didn't stop Marquez and he is tiny. Cotto was shopworn and Floyd really only hurt him in the 12th. Glove size was a factor there as they were 10oz, but still.
