My point with Cotto being a converted southpaw is his jab busted up Mayweather's face. Manny's straight left is even more powerful.

Again, I think Mayweather wins the fight with some shaky moments (especially early in the fight).

    it can go either way:

    wide UD for Floyd.

    or

    late stoppage for Floyd.

As one sided as that video is it provides enough damning evidence to say Yes! Mayweather has always been scared of Pacquiao.

Even when Pac was lighter and not yet a threat there is video of Floyd already calling him the second best after himself. He considers him a legit threat to his record.

Pacquiao will be a huge underdog in this fight and he will love that. :deal
    Mayweather cannot run forever.

Hmm shot for shot? Maybe Cotto is heavier handed. Pacquaio would land more though and in combos.

I mean if you look at what Pac did to Margarito and what Cotto did, Pac did more damage (although I know Cotto-Margarito I was at WW).

Cotto is a smarter fighter and more defensively gifted than Pac IMO but he is a bit of a plodder. People say pressure is what you need to beat Mayweather but I disagree, you need speed.

I agree. Pac didnt beat Cotto because he was stronger. He beat Cotto because he was a lot faster.

but the same way you cant base JMM/PAC on the outcome of FMJ/PAC. You cant base FMJ/MAC on the outcome of FMJ/PAC

Didn't you read my post or what, ¨Ëverybody aside from hardcore *****s like you¨, who are totally drunk on Floyd's sperm.

It was pretty clear from the beginning that Canelo didn't have the speed, the stamina or the experience to beat Floyd, things that Pac has in spades. Floyd saw Canelo's weaknesses in the Trout match and got to him before Canelo could improve or get more experience. Floyd doesn't take risks in a fight and Canelo was no exception, he even tried to weight drain ginger with his catchweight

I still give Floyd some credit for taking on Canelo, clearly an improvement from Guerrero the bum, but dont make it sound like ginger is a bigger danger than Pac you mong. He's not and never was, Canelo is strong and skilled, but too slow on his feet, no stamina, no experience at the elite level and was probably drained. Floyd chose him for a reason

Pac is the only fighter at WW who can match Floyd's speed, stamina and negate a lot of his advantages, and that's why Floydette and you *****s dont want this fight to happen :deal

    this is really easy:
    1. his shoulder roll doesnt work against southpaw.
    2. his right-counter (off shoulder doesnt work as well).
    3. his jab is less effective against southpaw bec it tangles with the opposition's lead hand.

these 3 are the bulk of the tools in his arsenal.

without these 3, he compensate by being more offensive. since he cannot defend and counter well, he put southpaws on the defensive, so he has less worry defending.

this plays more on the strenght of pacquiao where he doeesnt need to chase his opponent.

just watch floyd fight southpaws, you will what im talking about.

floyd is hardwired to defend when attacked, that defense is mainly shoulder roll.

watch the spadafora sparring when he tried to defend against a southpaw. he was like a robot that malfunctioned.

he kept switching from high-guarding to philly shell and back again. but nothing worked.

pac is going to break his chin and he doesnt want none of that.

It'd just be sooo amazing, which is why I fuking hate that I'm subjected to seeing the topics again haha.

Pacquiao once again showed off his speed in the Rios fight, and it reminded me just how incredible it is. It almost seems like it'd be impossible to dodge easily, and if anyone in the world can, it's Mayweather. May can duck shots, but can he Anderson Silva his way out of 3-7 combos at one time?

Pacquiao = My favourite all time.
Mayweather = The greatest all time.

I couldn't be more invested in it either. GRRRR

Mayweather was always a little bit scared of his 0, not Pacquiao. After the Alvarez fight, I think he's got a bit more confidence to fight anyone they put in with him.
